When it comes to mold and mildew resistance, the answer is zero. Oct. 30 was the date when I bought it. Moreover, I own my own home and have an immaculate bathroom. I live alone in this household of one. The suction cup on every pillow came out, and there was black soot deformed into lines on both my pillow and tub. I wrote them a letter to complain. Neither five stars nor four stars can be given to this.

In other words, it's not in the tub 24 hours a day Unless you clean it, I assume it would quickly become smelly if not cleaned. However, there is no water getting into it.

Recently, I have been having health problems that I have lost a lot of weight and taken baths become a real challenge for me. Now that the extra cushion is gone, laying back in the porcelain tub is extremely painful on my spine/bones, and since getting out of the tub is not an option anymore, I've decided to give up taking baths for good. But here's the good news you'll love this pillow. The pillow I'm holding right now is one I wish I had always had. I love how comfortable it is! It's almost as if I could nap in the tub (but I The only con is that sometimes the suction cups can be finicky, but it doesn't really matter. Getting the cups to stick is the hard part the easy part is staying there. When I'm done using it, I remove it from the tub, dry it off, and store it in my towel cabinet so that it doesn't get moldy, dirty, or in the way for other people. You can put it on and take it off easily. Exactly what I was looking for!.

My back and shoulder blades won't feel the hard edge of the tub digging into my back and shoulder blades since it has stayed on the tiles and tub. This pillow actually allows me to relax fully into the bath (fell asleep a couple of times too lol), the pillow itself feels pretty close to a stiff memory foam pillow wrapped in a soft vinyl plastic feeling material, and the pillow itself is pretty close to a vintage looking memory foam pillow. Among the various bath pillows we've tried, this one proves to be the most comfortable for us. While we only have a small ledge between the top of the tub and the back of the shower wall, the extra pillow is an excellent addition because it makes the whole experience much more comfortable. It prevents mildew growth better than others I have had as well. Maintains a clean appearance. Over all other bath pillows, this one I would recommend.
