I had some of the "old" loofahs laying around - If you're not careful, it can irritate your skin, but it will certainly get rid of the crud you don't want on your body. These loofahs are soft and pretty, but they won't get rid of dirt or dry skin if you really need them to. No, I'm not going to purchase anything else. The next time, I'll get a real loofah.

While they are available at pharmacies, they are usually too expensive to use on a daily basis. br>br>These are fantastic mesh poufs! They easily take gel-based body washes and lather up nicely with just a few squeezy turns, leaving more than enough lather to cover your entire body and then some (and I'm a big boy!). I like that they come in bulk because I can use a different one every day (with two packs) and then throw them in the washer with other dirty towels, etc. to run through the steam wash to clean them. Even if they are not refreshed on a daily basis, a family will find them to be highly effective and "possessive," as the colors will identify which pouf belongs to whom. The cords are a good size for hanging to dry, and they appear to be well-made and rugged. br>br>I eventually gave up on the bodywash gel in favor of these because I found an online distributor for my bar soap, but if I had stuck with it, these would have become a necessity indefinitely.

Purchasing these from a store is a risk. They can be fantastic and last for weeks, or they can fall apart after a week. Some will scrape your face clean off, while others will glide over your skin like silk. Some soaps lather well, while others appear to waste it. I usually try to get them at Wal-Mart. Because I've found them to be more durable and I prefer a rougher scrubby, Mart labeled them "for men. " But even with those, my results have been mixed. I think I'll wait to write my review until I've finished going through the bag (there are six, I believe?). ) but I'm currently immersed in the tedious task of reviewing items I purchased on Amazon, so. Here's my take on the bath scrubby thing. Enjoy. br>br>I alternate between two at a time, one for above the waist and the other for below. I'm not a fan of scrubbing the man- With the same substance that I use to scrub my face, I cave. That's a disgusting situation. Who is the one who does it? So one scrubby is for the buttocks and balls, while the other is for the head and face. So far, I've only used two of the six cards in the pack. One is brand new, while the other has loosening but not unraveling. Still has a solid feel to it. I got them on October 14th, and it's now December 1st; I'm not sure when I first used them, but it's been at least a month. and-a- half. I'm not sure how frequently they should be changed. They are still in good shape, despite the fact that it is approaching that time. br>br>I'm not sure I'll be able to find these at the local store any longer. Before I run out of these, I'm going to order another bag. Much improved. They last a long time, scrub well (but not too hard), and suds up nicely so you don't waste soap.

Although I'm no loofah expert, any other loofah I've used has been of higher quality. The loofahs weren't as soft as others I'd tried, and they were also smaller than I had anticipated. After a couple of months, the loofah began unraveling and growing larger; it comes with four, so it's not a big deal; however, my girlfriend's loofah ($2 from Target) that I've used was much softer and better quality, and it didn't unravel like this one. Although the unraveling isn't a major issue, it does make washing your body with it more difficult. I wouldn't suggest buying one; instead, go to Target and buy one for $2, as my girlfriend advised.

It's not perfect, but it's better than you'd expect for the price. After a few weeks, they begin to lose their shape and loosen. Plastic loofahs should be changed every two months or so, according to dermatologists, but I only do it once a month. Because I change my loofahs so frequently, I don't mind them changing. They are pleasant to be around. It's not at all harsh. I occasionally yearn for a more abrasive scrub, but I'm content with what I have now.

These sponges are acceptable because they lose their tight ball shape after a few weeks. They puff up to a large size. They must be replaced every two months (though I should probably replace them after a month of daily use). The soft material is pleasant to the touch and does not irritate my skin. br>br>The other day, I was in the store and noticed that I could get a three-pack (of a different brand) for about $3. So you can get a better deal elsewhere (this is a little overpriced).

Great product, far superior to the 4 pack charcoal ones offered by other sellers. These are compact and sewn in the middle, so they don't fall apart like others. They're also well-made and come in a variety of colors. Poofs usually fall apart on me after about two weeks, but these have lasted much longer. I strongly suggest it.

So far, I've only used one, and it's still in excellent condition. It was a little stiff at first, but it quickly softened. It has "puffed" up a little bit after 6 months, but it is still holding together nicely. It has a strong inner core and a loose, soft outer layer. a lot of control I believe I'll be able to finish it in a few months, if not a year. br>For the price, it's a good product, and I still have three more to use.
