This is not only a very appropriate size, but the material is extremely absorbent as well. It doesn't come close to how well these wick moisture from my hair compared to my Turbies. Compared to previous years, drying time has significantly decreased. In several reviews, I have seen that the elastic used to secure the towel has some sort of difference. My take is that there are actually elastic loops going around the buttons, but when twisting the towel behind your head sight unseen, it's easy to grab the ribbon on the outside of the towel rather than the elastic loop hidden inside the twist of the towel Anyone who may be confused will find this very helpful and it's very easy to follow- The first time I did it, I used the outside ribbon, too. The softest, plushest hair turbans I've ever owned are these. I'm ridiculously picky about the quality of my hair. It is made of microfiber but feels different than the other microfiber towels I have used in the past. The wicking fabric has already evaporated a TON of water after 10 minutes of wearing it. There is another gripe I have about turbans their buttons fall off almost universally after a few uses, but these are sewn on very securely.
