This worked well in keeping a three-year-old child from falling out while sleeping in our home as a guest. It was soft and stayed in place. Furthermore, one of our older kids requested that it be installed in their bed. They liked it because it was enjoyable to them. My only quibble is that - When we first opened it, we were greeted with the following: Because it has a strong odor when first opened, the instructions stated that we should let it air out for at least 24 hours in a well ventilated area. We didn't have much extra space to work with, and we didn't have nearly enough time, but it all worked out in the end - That's just something to be aware of in advance.

My breastfed son cosleeps with me, so when I'm switching him on boobs while I'm half asleep, he gets on the edge of the bed and falls off a couple of times (thankfully, my mattress isn't high off the ground and I keep pillows next to bed in case of things like this). I was looking for a bed rail, but I wanted something more convenient for me getting on and off the bed. This was the ideal item for my needs. It's extremely soft and has a grip on both the top and bottom, making it more difficult to slide around in the sheets. I'm thinking about getting another one for the other side of the bed because it's so comfortable.

This bedrail outperforms a pool noodle by a long shot! It's shaped like a half circle, with one flat side and small grippers to keep it in place. The top side is shaped like a half-circle and is made of memory foam that is both soft and firm. It's big enough to keep my daughter from rolling out of bed, but soft enough that she doesn't wake up. She can easily climb over it to get out of bed when she wakes up. Putting a sheet over it protects it, and the sheet still fits over it and partially down the side of the bed, but not completely. This is a fantastic solution that allows me to sleep soundly at night without worrying about her falling out of bed.

This is one of my favorite ways to keep my toddler from rolling out of bed. It's flat on the bottom, so it won't roll around like a pool noodle would. On the bottom, there are a few anti-slip bumps to provide some traction. I don't have to worry about him getting hurt because it's nice and soft. We tucked it beneath the fitted sheet to keep it from being pushed or kicked off the bed while sleeping or climbing in and out. A strong odor has been mentioned by other reviewers. I can attest to the fact that ours had no odor and was ready to use within seconds of unboxing.

When my children transitioned to real beds, they were easy to scoot into and out of fitted sheets. We looked for a replacement for the inflatable rails, but they were out of stock. These aren't as easy to travel with as the others, but the title promised that they would be. Bamboo lining and high-density foam? Another reviewer mentioned that her child enjoys resting his head on the plush bumper, which is what drew me to these over a traditional metal/plastic convertible crib rail, especially since two of these were less expensive than one side rail. br>br>I cut open the rolled-up foam bumpers after they arrived. It makes me think of our Tuft & Needle mattress. After the packaging is removed, the mattresses inflate on their own (we have our king plus both kids in their full mattresses). They were perky and ready to go in a matter of hours. br>br> The bumpers are held in place by tiny little gripper bumps on the removable liner, which also has straps to wrap around your mattress. Because we have him on a full and he occasionally needs sheets changed, I didn't use these and instead tucked them under the mattress. Removing straps at 2 a. m. won't be fun for us! When I sneak out of my son's bed, Shrunks make annoying squeaking noises, whereas these are comfortable and silent! They're fantastic, and I'm glad I went with these instead of eBay Shrunks, similar listings, or a traditional bed rail. This company deserves a big thank you!.

I was on the lookout for a set of guardrails. We have one regal type that you can attach to your bed and use as a "wall. " However, we found it inconvenient because it was difficult for a child to get out of bed. This one is incredibly soft and squishy. Provides a "wall" of slavery to keep the child from falling. My 15-month-old daughter slept for three hours during her nap, and my son sleeps by "hugging" it at night. I am very pleased with my purchase.

When my son moved from a crib to a twin size bed at the age of two, we bought four of these. Our 17-month-old daughter is constantly crawling out of her crib, so this is our second purchase for her. We placed her queen mattress on the floor and secured it with these bumpers to prevent her from rolling off. She's sleeping soundly, and the bumpers are fantastic! I would strongly suggest it.

I have a convertible crib that we turned into a "toddler bed," so the bumper was only needed on one side. This is far superior to the rigid rails that can be installed! It's a favorite of my son's, and he even sleeps on it. br>br>One thing to keep in mind: Because the fitted sheet will slip if you get a 9 inch deep pocket toddler sheet (they're usually 8in) and a few sheet straps, I recommend getting a 9 inch deep pocket toddler sheet (they're usually 8in). I initially purchased a Twin sheet, but it was far too large.
