This was purchased to go with my king-sized bed. I wish it were a little taller because I have a deep mattress and it only rises about 6 inches above the top. It still keeps my 8-month-old from rolling out of bed. During the night, however, I had to pull him from between the mattress and the net. The problem seemed to be solved after I stuffed a pillow in there.

1/6/21 Update: br>Last night was the first time we used them. They also didn't stand up to scrutiny. Toddler fell through while sleeping, and she screamed uncontrollably because she was trapped between the rail and the bed. All of this is frightening. They are not something I would recommend. br>br>Instructions are terrible. It was a pain to get everything set up. We have a metal frame, so that could be why we can't get it secured. It is possible that you will return. We'll see how well it holds up in the hands of our daughter. This is amazing. Simply amazing. Don't waste time; scroll to the next bed rail, even if it costs more, because it's SO WORTH IT.

My mother suffered a severe stroke and fell out of bed at the rehab center, so we knew we had to prioritize safety when she was discharged. This was installed by my father and brother on her side of the bed, and it keeps her from falling out of bed perfectly. Dad appreciates how it folds up out of the way to make it easier to get her into bed. However, for deep mattresses, it would be nice if they could make them 6 to 10 inches taller. Because she can see through it, she doesn't feel hemmed in or threatened.

However, the railing that came with the top bed is too short, so we bought this one as well to make it safer. We absolutely adore it! My sons literally rub their faces all over it, and it has a clean profile, is easy to remove the cover for washing, and is very durable.

It has yet to be installed. However, the picture diagrams are fairly simple to put together and follow. The room isn't quite as big as it appears on the website. However, for me, it may not be a deal breaker.

Very sturdy and cover almost the entire side of the beds, so I don't have to worry about falling. She leans on it a little as well, and it's stayed put. I secured it to the bed frame with screws, and I strongly advise you to do so as well.
