Questions & Answers

The attachment helps if the baby is swaddled and the diaper is clipped to it. Does it still work this way?

The product should work as long as it is next to the skin. Swaddles will definitely make it more difficult for you to hear it through it.

The Snuza hero is similar to this one. How does it differ?

A vibration is sent to the Hero to try to wake up the baby, and the alarm sounds after three Rather than announcing an event, Snuza Go will just sound an alarm that will remind you to check/rouse your Snuza Go is the device I chose for my niece, as I decided her mom would rather know her baby is sick so she can go to the doctor than wait until the alarm is sounded and then be woken up by the Snuza himself.

Can you tell me how long the battery lasts?

It has been about 8 months since I first used it I have been using my laptop 12 hours a day for the past four and a half months, but the low battery light still doesn't come on.

Do you think this will resist a diaper blow out? If it gets wet, will it malfunction?

As far as water resistance goes, I'd say it's quite good. I haven't had many blowouts with it, but there have been many saturated diapers and it has kept working. I also like that it is fairly easy to wipe clean.

Honestly, Snuza Go literally saved the life of my baby
5/5

In fact, Snuza Go literally saved my child's life! She was born 4 weeks early and a bit premature, so I ordered the Snuza Go while still in the hospital so I would have it available for the first night she spent at I was sitting at the kitchen table about two days after we returned home (discussing the Snuza ironically), and my daughter was sleeping in her portable basinnette a few The Snuza alarm went off all of a sudden. The baby didn't seem to be breathing, so we ran to her. The two of us picked her up and tried jostling her around and calling her name, but she didn't respond. After trying to suction her, I eventually stuck my finger into her mouth to try to feel for anything that could be blocking her airway. I was sure there was mucus or something in her mouth blocking her airway. The child also did not react at all to my finger being put far back in her mouth (and if she were OK, her pediatrician agreed she would have coughed or cried or shown some kind of reaction). The dispatcher provided direction on how to perform CPR to my husband after my husband called 911. Finally, she was able to gasp and then cry while receiving CPR. If we hadn't had the Snuza to let us know there was a problem, I can't bare to think what would have happened. No doubt, by doing so she saved her own life and is the only reason she is still alive today. It has only been during diaper changes and baths since that incident almost 3 weeks ago that she has not used the Snuza Go. The click feature is also permanently enabled so we always know when she breathes so we can recognize it at a glance. I strongly suggest you buy a Snuza if you are at all on the fence about It will not disappoint you, I promise! With the Snuza, the baby can sleep wherever they please, not just under the mattress because it works no matter where the crib is. Besides the Snuza, we also have a crib alarm under the mattress next to our bed (which we purchased after this incident so we have a backup), but use the Snuza in addition to that one to make sure that we always have coverage. (In the evening, we actually use both simultaneously so that we have a backup. Having just lived through such an horrific event, we do not want to take any risks! In spite of the fact that we have both types of monitors now, if I had to choose one, I would choose the Snuza due to its portability. (It says on the manufacturer's website that it shouldn't be used while in motion. Although I don't count on it while we're moving, I do appreciate hearing the clicks when we stop at red lights, etc. )

The Snuza's alarm is loud enough to hear if you're The alarm will not be audible if the baby is not in the same room as you. The best way to reliably hear the alarm is to use a sound monitor, especially at night when you are asleep. It's also possible that she may roll on her side to sleep, which could be a contributing factor to false alarms if not placed securely (although this problem is usually not an issue for us as we get her diaper snug enough).

My son's life was literally saved by you
5/5

The fact that I purchased this after conducting a ton of research about whether to get an owlet or a snouza is also noteworthy. Simply attach the snuza to either the diaper or the pants and turn it on or off. It seems to be pretty straight forward and much cheaper than traditional diaper or pant covers. In any case, a few weeks ago, I was putting my son to bed, and I had turned on the monitor as I usually do. five hours later, I woke up to the sound of a loud beeping and rushed to his crib to see that he was not Did not wake him up even after trying to wake him up. I picked him up and tried pinching his arm a little, but that didn't work either. My breath came out hard as I blew hard into his faith, which gasped for air and made me start There is no way that my son could have forgotten how The purchase of this made me so relieved. You won't regret buying it and can rest assured of a secure purchase.

In a perfect world, I would give this ten stars
5/5

I have never spent more money than I did on you. We were home with my son for 3 weeks, and I was unable to sleep for more than 20 minutes at a time without waking up to make sure he was It didn't matter what the price was, I was sure there was something that would ease my mind and make hubby happy. In the days following my research, I stumbled upon many fabulous products but finally settled on the Snooza Go. The reason we ended up purchasing the Snooza Go was because I wanted something portable, didn't want a device that emits a Bluetooth or wifi signal, and did not want a device that tracks too many vitals and creates Despite Snooza's simplicity, it is extremely effective and easy to set up and use. The set up and instructions are easy to follow and the product is ready to use right out of the box. I am wearing it, and my son doesn't even realize I have it on. It's about one inch and a half tall and one inch wide. Having been three months since he was born, we can anticipate that may change as he gets older, but for now, The only time he realizes it's there is when he's sleeping, so I doubt he'll even notice it. I like how this fits really snugly over a diaper or pants, and it doesn't move too much either. The only time I've ever had a false alarm was when he was snuggling with his mother and it slipped off my shirt as I wasn't paying attention. He has slipped it from the center of his diaper to near his hip a couple of times, but it kept tracking his breathing/movement without any issue. As he begins to roll onto his stomach, I don't expect trouble, as I imagine that snooza will stay put. Since he recently started rolling to his side, I am even more grateful (if that's even possible) for the Snooza so I can check on him in the middle of the night to make sure he is in good shape. Usually, I put him back on his back, but he will sometimes roll to his side in the middle of the night without me knowing, and I'm more calm knowing Snooza will alert me if that happens. It's probably not a big deal, but if I feel like my baby needs vibration, I'd rather just wake up as soon as possible so I can make sure everything's okay (can you guess I am a first-time mom?) Snooza go is about $20 less expensive. Using this system for the first time gave me (no joke) 3 hours of sleep I had never experienced. I slept soundly, knowing that my baby was safe, and because I finally had the chance to He was so happy I was sleeping) if you are seeking that extra security blanket to function at night.
