The Eco Mode that the monitor has had for the 18 months that we've used it has been one of my favorite features, in which the camera detects noise in your baby's room and turns on the screen and speakers. Of all the items we bought for our baby, the monitor was by far the most difficult to select there was no one model that received consistently good reviews across the board. We initially purchased a different brand we thought would be the best, but it eventually broke. A very disappointing experience. After finding the monitor, we went to investigate it. The price was reasonable and the reviews were good, so we decided to give it a try. We are not completely in love with it, but we are very pleased, especially for the price. We were able to set it up in no time at all. It was sufficient to connect the camera and charge the monitor, as the camera paired itself up with the monitor automatically. In the "Eco mode", there is also something nice If a loud sound is detected (e. g. your baby crying) , the screen will go off until the camera detects it and turn on so that you can see what's happening. This mode allows you to adjust the sensitivity, which in turn determines the volume at which the screen will be activated. When the monitor is on in "Eco Mode" (i. e. Screen is off and turns on when sound is detected) there is a little green LED highlight at the top of the screen that flashes to let you know the screen I am sure we have all had those moments when we look at the monitor and think, "I did turn that thing on. Our experience with this product has only been 3 days and it is terrible!
