When you first turn it on, you'll notice that it's a little different. Unless you set the screen to always be on, which I did, the screen will turn off. I can't sleep unless I can see my baby, so that's why. It will have a light that indicates the presence of noise. When it hears a sound, it'll move. The screen will also turn on as a result of this.
It's similar to having a landline phone without the cords. It runs on a different frequency than the rest of the house. Not Wi- Not Bluetooth, but Wi-Fi.
No, it has its own frequency. The WiFi is not set up. It's a device that's used to keep track of your baby while they're out of the house.
Mounting it to the crib is not a good idea. It's not a good idea to do so. This comes with a wall mount, and the camera rotates in all directions, making it very easy to get a good view.

br>br>You can see how far away I was from my house (the light green house) before I lost connection in the photo I included. The monitor camera was in a bedroom upstairs, and the picture had been clear until that point. br>br>It's incredible to be able to move the camera view around the room. You'll be able to see everything if your baby gets out of the crib hahabr>br>The included lullabies are cute and soothing, and to top it off, you can not only hear but also speak through the camera in the room where it's located! br>br>The night vision is also quite good. br>br>The battery life is excellent. br>br>Overall, the monitor is VERY easy to use, a great value for the money, and comes with a good warranty, though it appears to be fairly well built, so I doubt you'll need it!.
That was not the case with my VTech toy. The night vision is excellent; it compares favorably to the VTech model I previously owned. My music is out of tune and skips a little, but when I contacted the company about it, they advised me not to place it near any appliances or WiFi routers, so I'm wondering if I just can't get it far enough away from those things for it to work. To be honest, that's not a feature I'm interested in, so it doesn't matter to me. You can also zoom in and out, adjust the volume, and speak into it. It's a very clear sound. The battery life is fantastic, and the monitor is a perfect size for me. The screen is large, but the monitor is thin enough that I can put it on a small stand and carry it around with me, and it's smaller than my phone. The type of adapter connection to the monitor on this one is NOT a mini usb, which is something most people are probably not thinking about but should be. I've had numerous issues with mini usb connections failing after only a few months of use. That's why I had to get a new one from VTech! So I'm relieved that I won't have to deal with that with this one. I'm very pleased with this monitor, as well as all of the company's other products!.
This is an excellent small monitor. The setup is incredibly simple, and the image and sound quality are excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the night vision. I like being able to pan the camera and move the hand help screen around. You can also talk to your baby while playing lullabies, which is an added bonus! The only thing I would change is that the camera base should be rechargeable so that it does not have to be plugged in all of the time, making it much easier to move around wherever the baby is. You don't need any cords because the screen is rechargeable. br>br>All in all, this is a fantastic device to have not only for monitoring babies, but also for monitoring sick people, the elderly, and even your pets! This is a device that I strongly suggest!.
I have another baby monitor that works great, but I needed another camera so I got this one. I respect the work and time businesses and workers put in to create a product, and I only write this review for parents who want a good monitor for their special one(s) and for constructive criticism to the workers involved in the product. This baby monitor system frequently freezes, and loading can take several minutes. The image is also very grainy, and the monitor to screen ratio is too small for me. Thank you for taking the time to listen to me, and I hope to be of assistance.
It has two-way audio, a long range, and is compact. Meanwhile, I bought a baby monitor so I could see if anyone came in while I was on the other side of the house; this tiny camera can see in the pitch black back hallway 1000sf away from the monitor, and it also has excellent audio capabilities. The last camera I bought had a very large monitor, but this one fits in the palm of my hand; there are a million cameras to choose from, so I consider myself fortunate!.
Pros: The monitor is of a good size and is easily transportable. Both the camera and the monitor have interchangeable AC adapters. The pan and tilt controls are simple to use. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. To begin, I am extremely dissatisfied with the monitor's range. Even when we do have a connection, it is choppy at best, and the camera has to be set across the room to see our child in his crib. I understand that walls can degrade the signal, but with only two walls and 75 feet between camera and monitor, this is hardly a 1000 ft range device. The unzoomed view has a lot of detail. In addition, the battery life isn't great. We leave the video on all the time because our son often wakes up quietly, and it lasts a little over 2 hours, which is inconvenient when we visit our parents and put him to bed there. Both AC adapters must be brought with you. Other controls buried within the menus are also not very intuitive. br>br>Overall, we wanted to love this monitor when we first used it. We were able to look past the other minor flaws of this product because of the packaging and components, but the actual range was a deal breaker for us.
I don't have to run up the stairs or send any of my older children to check on my son anymore because the shipping was quick. I can see him on this monitor, and it has two-way communication, which I really like. This works like a charm for me because my son likes it when I go talk to him before he gets up. The quality is excellent, and it takes up little room. It's not insignificant, but it's not insignificant either. My son had just taken a nap, so I had to give it a shot. I would strongly suggest it.
My monitor had a frozen screen image, and I noticed it didn't change when I moved the camera. I'm not sure how long this has been going on, and my love one has been telling me what's going on without telling me. I tried turning it off and on, but it won't turn off at all. I'm going to let the battery run out and see if I can get it to work again. This wasn't cheap, and I'm very dissatisfied and worried about it.
