I would say yes, as long as there is some give in the inches above 10". Despite the amount of effort required to jam it over the pillow top, we were able to get it over the 14" pillow top mattress we had.

I got this as a gift for my coworker We are asleep. It works perfectly well even for a mattress that is 14 inches thick. It doesn't bother me at all that I no longer have mattress space, as I don't share my queen bed with anyone but the baby.
