As expected, they are large foam tubes (coated in a thin layer of foam). A barrier had to be placed around a garage support pole to protect a car door. I purchased two of these and zipped tied them around it due to the thickness of the pole. Everything works as it should.

In light of the fact that you sent one 48" pad for $35, I consider this to be a low value item.

A had been. Not well suited for 3" poles as shown on the packaging. We had to cut strips to make it fit, and we had to tape and glue it. I dislike it.

Now that our garage pole has been protected, we can stop worrying about it. It works like a champ to protect the vehicles with zip ties.
