Yes. All of the lenses can be used for night vision.
Obviously, I am not familiar with your specific circumstance. The camera, however, is in a bedroom with very dark blinds in MY application. For me, the camera works well enough that I can see the bed from a distance of about 10 feet and detect movement.

You can see everything clearly in the dark because your night vision is on! I was able to locate at least one location in each room of each building where I could position the monitor and receive three (out of four) signal bars! I'm a hard act to follow, but this product has exceeded my expectations in every way!.
I bought the wide angle lens because I needed to mount the camera on the very top of my wall, near the ceiling, to capture the entire crib. br>br>After reading other reviews, I was concerned about the night vision, but the manufacturer stated that the problem had been resolved. I know it's fixed because I can't tell the difference between the regular and night vision lenses. Advantages: br>br>
- I could lower the camera and capture the entire crib as well as other areas of the roombr>- I was able to use the camera's temperature feature more accurately by installing it lower. br>- Both night and day vision are excellent. br>- Cons: Didn't have any effect on the image quality. br>br>
- Although there is a 'hot spot' in the night vision, this is due to a camera flaw rather than the lens itself. With the regular lens, I experienced the same 'hot spot. ' br>br>Overall, it's great, and I really needed the wide angle lens for this camera to use it the way I wanted.

We purchased this wide-angle lens for our toddler's room so that we could see where he was when he wasn't in his bed. It was incredibly simple to put on; simply take off the one that came with it and twist this one on. I like how we can see his entire room in one shot to figure out where he is. It aids in providing me with reassurance. On the monitor, we can see his entire room, as shown in the photo I attached.
This is not something I use very often. It's only useful if you can keep track of things, which the system doesn't allow you to do. Because the screen is so small and the view is so spread out, you won't notice any activity.
This is something I don't require right now. It's fantastic to be able to change the lens. I don't have a need for this right now, but once I do, it'll be fantastic.
