It isn't hidden beneath the bed. It has a curved edge that fits snugly between the crib and the mattress. As a result, it fits on top of the crib like a tent with no bottom. Using ties on each corner, the entire thing is held in place. On the upper half, two zippered exits/entrances can be found. As a result, the crib appears to be completely enclosed and functions as such, but the child has easy access to it. I own one, and I adore it. My child is no longer able to get out of his crib.
No, it's too large to fit in a pack and play. This is a crib only.
The tent does not go all the way down to the mattress's bottom, but it does fit snugly between the mattress and the crib. The netting extends all the way to the bottom of the crib, preventing the baby from becoming trapped between the crib bars with his or her arms or legs.

My daughter recently turned two and has decided that now is the best time to begin climbing out of her crib. EVERYTHING was put to the test. Nothing would keep her from getting out of the crib, including the lowest setting, placing the mattress directly on the floor, turning the crib around, and so on. I finally caved in and ordered this after hours of research! I was hesitant due to the cost, but I can assure you that it is well worth it! She attempted to get out for 25 minutes during her nap, but eventually gave up and fell asleep. My daughter isn't quite ready for a toddler bed, so this crib tent comes in handy. Our top priority is safety, but I also want to point out that it's super cute and matches her room perfectly! My daughter is tall, strong, and determined, and she's a natural climber, so I'm almost certain most other toddlers won't be able to get out either! The most brilliant invention in history!.
Our two-year-old busy boy learned how to climb out of his crib and, as a result, raid the refrigerator, try to watch television, and play with us all night long or at 4 a. m. Thanks to this contraption, that is no longer the case! Dude, it's time for you to go back to sleep! I'm a little concerned that he might puncture the material. It's a shaky sensation. I'm sure we'll be fine as long as he doesn't bring a shiv or a pair of safety scissors with him. It'll be well worth the money for me to regain my sanity and sleep. Happy holidays, son, and to everyone else in the house. ****update br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br> But one of the zippers on one side broke, which was very disappointing. So now it's always open, and our son has to get out of bed once more. I was very optimistic, but it only lasted a month. I tried to reinstall the zipper but it wouldn't work, so I reattached the zip seams. Back to a child's headache from constantly getting out of bed:.
a child of five years old Baby's under the age of 24 months will benefit from this product. This was bought for my two-year-old daughter four months ago. To prevent her from climbing out of her bed, a five-year-old must intervene. This was a must for her because she is tall and can open most of the doors in the house. This tent is attractive, but it should be more durable and include a zipper locking mechanism. My daughter quickly figured out how to climb out by unzipping it from the inside. I tried everything I could to keep the zipper in place, but she figured it out eventually. The netting had holes in it within the first week. The zippers all broke and more holes appeared over the next few months. The openings have been destroyed and held together by various things at this point, exactly four months after purchase. I believe my daughter worked extra hard on this item because she is taller than most of her peers. It's probably better suited to 18-year-olds. Younger than 24 months. br>br>I've ordered another one, which I'm hoping will last longer since these aren't cheap.
I docked one star because there are numerous loose strings and areas that appear to be about to tear. Only time will tell if this is true. It's great in terms of design and fit. It's clear enough that I can still see the baby through the monitor. My 8-month-old is standing up in his crib at its lowest level and occasionally falls, so we needed this. Even with bumpers, he's hit his head several times, and his leg once went through the slats, twisting his body. It was only a few minutes later that I purchased this! I'm hoping he'll be safe as a result of this. One flaw that I can see being a problem, particularly with older children, is that there is nothing securing the fabric underneath the mattress, allowing them to easily pull it up and still get out or even get stuck.
This is exactly what I needed. I wish I had known about it when I was planning my baby shower. My daughter would swing her legs over the breathable bumpers, so this is a great alternative. We didn't need the top half of the tent, but it eliminates the possibility of her climbing out on her own. br>br>One flaw is that when viewing her through the tent on the monitor, it's not always clear. It is possible to see through it, but only from certain angles. When the camera is too close, it only sees mesh; when it is too far away, it only sees the tent's edging. During the day, visibility is excellent.
I bought it twice more for my two granddaughters. I bought this for my 1 1/2-year-old granddaughter, who thinks she's a monkey and gets out of her crib every day. It's of excellent craftsmanship. My only gripe is that it only took her a few months to figure out how to unzip it from the inside and get herself out of it. We had to attach a paperclip to a binder clip on the outside to prevent her from unzipping it from the inside, but other than that, it was a fantastic purchase. It accomplished what it set out to do. We've now purchased three for each of our three granddaughters, as they all seem to believe they're monkeys these days. I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs as a toddler bed. It's super adorable, and the craftsmanship is excellent.
It was incredibly simple to set up and was delivered in a neat and secure package. It came with a nice case to store it in, and it looked nice. It also fits under the mattress, so it appears secure. The only drawback is that it's extremely difficult to recollapse; once it's up, it takes an act of Congress to get it down; however, I was able to get it back into the beat little circle that fits in the case. I'm not sure how many times it can be taken down, but it handled this one admirably, and once you zip it up, it won't let you down. It's a five-star product, and if your baby climbs like mine, it's a must-have.
Two were purchased- The first one was too big for a standard crib, but this one did! I don't care for the extra fluff and stars, but it gets the job done, and I can sleep soundly once more.
