Questions & Answers

There are at least a dozen wooden slats on my bunk bed, but there is no boxspring or plywood. Is it something I would be interested in?

In order for this mattress rail to work properly, it must be used with a mattress and Additionally, it will work for any other bed, including wooden beds, but you won't be able to pull it down all the way to the side. Don't fold the bedrail down. The bedrail is attached to the main frame of the bed on the side, so you must keep it upright. Use packing tape to tape the bedframe to the two corresponding slats if the wooden bed has slats. If you have wood slats, tie the bedframe to the slats.

Do you think this would work on a mattress which is placed directly on the floor without a boxspring?

There is a strap under the mattress that holds the rail in place. There is a piece of plastic that ties the strap together in a T. As a result, parts of the plastic stick up, and parts of them stick Rails are kept from slipping when this is done. The "T" wouldn't be in a proper position and wouldn't be able to hold the mattress if it was on the floor. In order for it to work properly, you might need a box spring.

When the rail swings down flat against the base of the bed, is it level with that? Although it appears to swing down, it may be resting at an angle in the picture. Please accept my thanks! ?

If the boxspring and frame are high enough off the ground then the rail will swing down and lay flat. To answer the first question, yes. I just installed my son's bed this week, and the top of the box spring is 21 inches off the floor, leaving a 2 inch gap between the rail and the floor when the bed is down. The frame and bed are super high, so it lays flat with no problems.

Do you know if it works on convertible cribs? Introducing our baby girl aged 13 months She sleeps with us and we wouldn't mind having her in her own bed if she wasn't wild in her sleep. ?

In this rail, there are 43-foot sections The length is in inches. It is likely that the crib will work if it is transformed into a toddler bed or daybed. It would depend on the design of the crib, as some are designed with guard rails built in.

Boxspring needed to be removed for this to work
5/5

Due to other reviews that said the bed wouldn't work without a boxspring, I was hesitant to purchase it, but I needed something to prevent my two year old from falling out of bed and onto hardwood floors. Although we bought the Pottery Barn 'Catalina' bed with slats that don't need a boxspring, I decided to give it a shot. Despite that the adjustable cord part of the bed doesn't hook onto anything, the metal "arms" sit perfectly under the mattress, and the whole thing is held in place by a rail on the side It may not be possible to lower the rail with this feature, but I wouldn't use it I found it to be a very safe solution for our problem, and my daughter has not fallen out of bed since then.

Finished my first night with a broken leg! During our first night of using it for my granddaughter, it broke
3/5

The plastic "grommet" had broken the previous night, and was on the floor when I woke up the next morning. The same broken piece has been reported by others as well. Another one, that is similar but not the same brand, has been used by us for several years for our grandson. Choosing the Regalo brand is not a good idea.

In the hotel, it worked well! Having a bedrail that can be packed in a hotel room is crucial for me since my 3 year old is going there
5/5

This one looked perfect. The thing is, when I got it, one of the metal rods has been dented at the end so that it cannot be used as indicated in the instructions because it is unable to be inserted into the other rod. In order to force it open, I put scissors into the damaged end and pounded a hammer on it to break it. I didn't want to wait for my husband to fix it, so I took some scissors and a hammer. Although I didn't expect it to work, I was able to open it enough for the other rod to go into it a little. Because of the scissors, I didn't expect it to work evenly. My subsequent action was to pound one rod along the other rod until I gradually managed to get it through the catch and onto the hook! What a great thing! It was so satisfying to see how proud I was Although I had some difficulty with this bedrail, I still love it, since it was so much easier to put on the bed than the one I used at Disney during my last trip. Lifting up the mattress slightly, you just put one end in, and then you lift up the mattress again on the other side and put the other end in. Fastener cords come with it, but I just left them on the table. It's wise to use the fasteners according to the manufacturer's instructions as long as the rail will not slip out, but for just a few nights, they aren't necessary. comparison to the Disney bedrail, the Disney bedrail was so difficult to stick under the mattress since it had a different design that squeezed the mattress (nothing However, it does have one practical advantage over the Regalo version the bedrail is inclined outwards over the bed, so there's no chance of the child shoving his hands into the crevice between the rail In order to fix that, I rolled up a towel and placed it into the crevice so that it would be covered by the towel. In addition, the Regalo bedrail does not harm the mattress in any way. The bedding suited my toddler well and she slept well as a result. This Regalo bedrail is highly recommended for use at home or on the road. As an alternative, the bump bedrails can help keep your child from rolling onto your side in a hotel bed, especially if they're used in the middle of the You can find it here Please visit our website. The Fidget Mouse is great for the elderly with dementia who fidget My elderly mother needed this when she fell ill - You can find law online
4/5

It seems like she is always fidgeting at night due to dementia! It will now be possible for her husband (age 87) to rest a little easier knowing she will not fall out in the middle of the The only issue is that when it's folded down, it hits the ground, so we have to be extra careful when getting her out of bed. As for the rest, it is a great product. I appreciate your help!.

My King bed is ideal for sleeping in it
5/5

I did read all of the reviews before buying this and saw mixed opinions about whether or not it would fit a king, but I decided to take the risk anyway. It is possible that I have two smaller box springs on my king-size bed. There is no way I could have made the rail reach across both box springs, but I managed to work it out. It basically took me just a few seconds to reach across one and flip the anchor so it Our almost 5-month-old baby sleeps in this bed with us. As she is just beginning to roll over, keeping her from falling off the bed is a great idea.

A strong and safe brand
5/5

It's fantastic to have this bed rail for co-sleeping. I was convinced we needed to get a safer high bed after my daughter fell off the high bed one night. It is now 18 months old and she can shake the bar and lean on it quite well, and I do not have to worry about it breaking.

There is no need for a box spring The mattress fits nicely on a steel bed frame with a flat top
5/5

Although I was a little discouraged by all the reviews declaring that a box spring is REQUIRED for these bedrails, after looking closely at the pictures, I decided to order two. A flat steel bed frame will fit two of our bedrails perfectly on a twin size bed that we bought for our 3 year old. You can view two pictures of customers on my website.
