I am not sure what kind of plastic it is, but it works perfectly for my daughter. She has been using it for months and it doesn't bend or crack. It comes in a two pack, so you don't need to worry about only storing or moving one piece.

Although I would have preferred something a bit taller for my 2 year old daughter, this was a great purchase. As she is able to wash her hands and use the toilet independently, she becomes more independent.

I would suggest that my two year old wear these to the potty instead of these short thongs. There are comfort height toilets in the bathroom, they are a little taller than standard ones, but they are perfect for the toy box and will work great for the bathroom when she grows up.
