How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

It's simple to change baby's diapers with a swing-away changing table and a wipes/diaper stacker.
You can soothe your child with soothing melodies and nature sounds thanks to the music center's volume control and nightlight.
With the multi-textured mattress pad, it can be used as a bassinet; large caster wheels with brakes make it easy to move the playard around the house.
Setup and folding are a breeze thanks to the one-hand locking mechanism.
Three hanging toys will keep your child entertained throughout his or her early years, and they fold up compactly for travel. JPMA certified.

Questions & Answers

Is it necessary to remove the changing table, hood, and bassinet area in order to transport it?

Yes, before transporting, all accessories must be removed.

What type of mattress should I get as a replacement for a more cushioned mattress?

Dream on me, a pack-and-play foam mattress

What kind of wipes holder would fit in here?

I use Huggies and Pampers, but I like to mix in a little purified water to keep them moist.

With a few minor design flaws, this is a good crib alternative
4/5

Edit: Adding a manufacturer's comment about canopy noise (see the 6sec video I uploaded). I initially thought it was just my canopy, but it appears that all canopies do this. Babytrend: br>br>Babytrend: br>Babytrend: br>br>Babytrend I was able to get a video review done. The canopy's main purpose is to provide shade. We looked at the other models and found that they all make the same sound when the canopy is rotated. Please accept my sincere apologies for any design flaws. Features: br>br>
- There are two levels: a middle level and a lower level. Mid level is ideal for newborns who don't move or roll much, as well as mothers who have recently given birth. Your back and bottom will appreciate it, as bending all the way down to pick up the baby several times a day after your body has just gone through childbirth is extremely difficult. It's simple to adjust the mattress and lower it to the bottom as the baby grows older. We ordered a separate mattress and sheet that fit perfectly because I find padding to be a little firm. The mattress is kept in place by the sheet, so there's no risk of the baby rolling under it.
- Table for changing clothes. This table is my favorite feature because it allows you to hold the baby in one hand while setting up or removing the table with the other. The child is secured by safety straps. There is no need to purchase a separate changing table because this one will suffice. br>**CONCERN: It is impossible to clean the fabric because it is attached to the wall. I took the entire table attachment off of my old pack n play and washed it with the water hose, which was a BAD IDEA. The fabric insert got wet and broke in half (possibly cardboard), leaving me with a flimsy table. This time, I'll use large changing pads that can cover the entire table, so there won't be any stains to worry about.
- The canopy is why I chose this version over the basinet version. We did not use a basinet with my first child. I wanted the canopy to shield the baby's head and ears from the outside world. When it's hot outside, turn off the air conditioner because it's too close to the baby. Unzipping the canopy's fabric section reveals the "bridge" section and a couple of small toys suspended above the baby's head. It's also simple to remove the entire canopy, as shown in the photos. br>**REASON FOR CONCERN: Moving the canopy back and forth makes a horrible and loud noise that will undoubtedly wake up the baby. Check out the 6Secon video I posted and make your own decision.
- There are two different storage options. A removable diaper caddy holds a large pack of wipes, a large stack of diapers (at least a day's supply), bibs, burp cloths, gripe water, gas drops, and anything else you might need. It can be set up on either the left or right side of the pack n play. It's also possible to attach it to the drawer on the dresser. Three large fabric pockets on the side and beneath the changing table provide additional storage space. It can hold a lot (as seen in the photo), but for the time being, I'm using it to store my pumping supplies. I don't need much drawer space because of all the storage space provided; I'm very happy with that.
- It's a great alternative to a crib because it's portable and simple to put together. It can be pushed around because it is equipped with wheels. My first child slept in his pack n play until he was ten months old; he was also a tall baby who was always above the 95th percentile, making it easy to transport when visiting family or traveling. Even on day trips, we bring it with us. We took it on vacation with us, and the airline checked it in for free, even taking it to the beach with us. br>br>Overall, this is a fantastic crib alternative that is also very functional. It can be used as a toy storage bin once the baby has outgrown it. It does have a few minor design flaws, such as the inability to clean the changing table and the canopy noise. **Personal note** br>br> I give it my all when it comes to baby reviews; I wish I had this knowledge when I was a first-time mom. I hope that by sharing my story, you will be able to make the best decision possible for your family.

Parts were missing when they arrived
3/5

The company provided no assistance in resolving the issue. Flaws in the design We liked the design of this playpen at first, but when we finally put it together, we discovered that the sound machine was broken. br>Instead of returning an already-used item, we assumed it would be simpler to contact the company and request that it be replaced or repaired. We assumed the wrong thing when we put together the playpen. We were unable to resolve the problem because the company refused to assist us. We still haven't gotten anywhere after they sent me several emails asking me to verify the playpen's serial number, where I bought it, and how much I paid for it (the price was unimportant). The problem was never resolved. I'd even completed the product registration form. br>AS A RESULT, TEST THE SOUND MACHINE PRIOR TO ASSEMBLY. br>br>Development- in terms of the changing pad (which was a big selling point) point) is a pain in the neck. It doesn't sit flush against the top of the playpen, and a slanted changing pad means a newborn will roll down into the bottom corner. It's not fun to deal with at 2 a. m. when you're dealing with a diaper explosion that should have necessitated the use of a hazmat suit =(.

Beautiful as well as solid! This pack n play is one of my favorites
5/5

This is the one item I've had my eye on for months, and I read through a ton of other reviews before giving in and purchasing it. br>br>It's lovely, it's sturdy, and it came with everything you need, including the nightlight/sound maker. It's not as big as I expected, which is fine with me because I'll be sharing a room with my baby girl. It was simple to assemble, though the bassinet clips, as well as the side storage and canopy, required some muscle because it was new. It is, however, extremely durable. br>br>This pack and play is fantastic. Others have mentioned getting a mattress for added comfort (which I intend to do since I won't be buying a crib), but the mat is padded enough that it will suffice for the time being.

It's lovely to look at, but it's a pain to put together
4/5

After it's all put together, it's quite lovely, and I especially like the extra embellishments. Because of the side rails, putting the playard together was a complete nightmare. Only one side would snap into place at first, while the other did not. I thought it was broken until I read the fine print in the instructions, which stated that if this happens, simply collapse it and try to reassemble it. Then neither side would snap into place, so I avoided lifting from the center lock and kept the bottom raised as instructed. Nothing has happened so far. Every time one side of the rail would lock in place and kick the other side out of the locked position, I took a few steps back to calm my nerves before tackling it on my own. I sat on my bed and tilted the playard towards me, then lifted both ends of the side rail from either end of the center lock, taking my feet and pushing the bottom's corners away from me. Finally, the side rails were installed, and I simply repeated the process on the other side. br>I adore the playard once it's set up, and I don't think I'll disassemble it until I'm done with it forever.
