There's nothing better than sitting in this chair! Besides being soft, the cushions have nice lower back support, as well as good head support. With its glider rocking mechanism, the glider glides smoothly and effortlessly. With the ottoman you will find a glider rocker, as well as a soft cushion. Despite its shallow depth, the seat is not so deep that an infant cannot be held while standing. As the assembly worker (hired for $80) did not follow the pictures in the instructions, he put the arms on the back side, so the seating was too small due to the arms being inserted inwards. FIND THE FIX by following the pictures because the explanation is clear and easy to understand. As a bonus It is fun for the two older kids to cuddle in the chair together and Even though the assembler told me it had a low rating, I am SO GLAD I got this chair. It is a glider rocker I'm totally satisfied with in every aspect! Having a height of 5'5" and a weight of 145 lbs makes me an average adult.
Having a chair in a nursery is a good idea. For small rooms it is a great option because it is much smaller than most gliders. In the end, we are happy I bought it for what we needed it for, but the quality isn't the best and it's not too comfortable either. But I would purchase it again for the purpose for which we bought it.
There is a lot of dirt on the cushions, and it's hard to clean.
Invest a little more money in better quality products and you will be happier. The cost of this is going to be higher in the long run. A few months into using the glider, one of the bearings effectively ripped itself apart. My glider still worked until the bearings fell out of the glider, after which I contacted the company and they told me I was out of warranty and would have to purchase a new set. The only reason they sell them in packs of 8 is that when one breaks, it is likely that the rest will also. The other thing that you have to do is mail your payment to Canada and wait for them to send them to you (this may take a long time, as other reviews I have read mention). There were a few other options but I ended up contacting Shermag again after trying another fix. During this time, the price of the product had gone up $5 and shipping had gone up $5. My account is now requiring a $50 deposit to cover the wait time for something that will Based on more reviews of people who have done this, those that tried to replace them usually failed too. It might be a good idea to spend that $50 on I'm going to tell you short version The company will charge you $50 for you to fix a bearing yourself when it fails, and it definitely will. You will almost certainly have the same problem following long waits for replacement parts. These parts will be of the same quality as the original and you will likely have to repeat the process.
I bought this product from another seller (babyRus) and purchased it from them. After the seller went bankrupt, I contacted Shermag for a replacement since the product was of poor quality and they weren't taking responsibility for it. I strongly suggest that you do not buy this product. Instead, you should spend a little bit.
