I checked, but the light cover does not come off as far as I can tell. However, they appear to be LEDs. The lights aren't particularly bright during the day, but they can be extremely bright in a dark room at night. For that reason, I put it on a stand next to the crib or at the far end of the crib facing up, so my little one can't look right into it. The velcro strap is on the back of the unit, which leads me to believe it was designed to be strapped to crib slats or something similar, but I believe the best effect is achieved when the lights project onto the ceiling.
I'm not sure what it is, but the toy is amazing.
I have no idea; I just bought a stuffed animal. It's so cute.
The sound and projection light will automatically play when the child cries. The projection lights are changing colors all the time at the same time. Will pique the child's interest, resulting in a soothing or quiet state for the child.

My previous music player was all white, and while my baby seemed to enjoy it, I wanted something that didn't require me to change the batteries every week. This little bear (or, more accurately, the music box) can be recharged. When the color light is plugged in, it turns red, and when it is fully charged, it turns off. You can still use it while it's charging if you forget to charge it, as I did! I'm also a big fan of the crying sensor. The only thing I don't like is how the volume controls work. It goes from low, medium, high, high, medium, low, low, medium, low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low, It would be preferable if it began from the beginning for me, but that is a personal preference.
This was purchased for our newborn as a sound machine. It has a sound menu that includes white noise, ocean sounds, a heartbeat, and several music modes. Unfortunately, the sound is tinny and grating. In addition, the volume control is a single button that cycles through several volume settings in a somewhat random manner. It's strange, and a complete no-no if you've just put your baby down for a nap and are trying to adjust the settings before creeping out of the room. It also eats batteries for breakfast, so if you want to leave it on overnight with your baby, you'll have to change the batteries after two or three nights. In the end, we decided to install an Echo Dot in the nursery. Now all we have to do is say, "Alexa, play brown noise," and we'll get a nice low rumbly noise that we can play in the nursery.
It is a big hit with our three-month-old son. The removable music box is the best part for us at the moment. It can be used in a car seat, a stroller, a pack n play, or an outside dome without fear of suffocation. I'll add that the baby loves watching the stars fade in and out, so we put his car seat hood up and let the lights shine, and we do the same while in the stroller and also on the bedroom ceiling with multiple brightness selections, so it's perfect. The cry feature works great and saves some trips to the baby, allowing him to fall back to sleep on his own. I also like that if he starts dragging the bear around, the box can be cleaned without risking damage. Oh, and it's USB-powered!.

This is fantastic; I bought it for my one-year-old nephew, who adores it. It's soft, simple to use, and packed with cool features. Both of my nephews (1 and 2) are affected by this. a 6-year-old) to fall asleep within five minutes 10 min. The only thing I wish it had was some kind of velcro or sticky material to keep the speaker in place so it wouldn't be as easy for kids to pull out.
