It looks and feels like a muslin blanket, but the sheets don't move around much. The elastic is sturdy, and the elastic at the bottom of the top sheet keeps it in place nicely.

I bought these for my daughter's crib mattress's first sheet set because I'm trying to get her used to having sheets and blankets instead of just the fitted crib mattress sheet. The colors are lovely, they wash well, and they appear to be of good quality while remaining lightweight. She doesn't like the flat sheet, but that isn't the fault of the product; I do like that the flat sheet's bottom is fitted like a fitted sheet, so it stays tucked around the mattress no matter how much she moves around in bed. For the pillowcase, I docked a star. The pillowcase is one of those center opening ones, so you have to wrangle one side of the pillow in, then fold the pillow in half to wrangle the other half of the pillow in, and then tie the sides together with two short ties in the case's hole. I don't like these types of pillow cases in general, but especially for my toddler because she has figured out how to untie them and is more likely to get a limb caught in them and become stuck than with traditional side load cases, and the strings to tie them aren't quite long enough to knot them so she can't undo them.
I love how soft and well-made this item is. I bought these about 6 months ago, and they've survived numerous washings, a toddler who tries to make her own bed, and a dog who insists on sleeping in the toddler bed. I would strongly suggest it.
The top and bottom sheets are sewn together, so they stay tucked in all night.
These were incredibly adorable. Excellent material and workmanship. I returned them because the color didn't appeal to me.
