No, the fabric used to make this pillow's cover is not waterproof - The pillow's shell is made of polyester, and it's filled with polyester fibers. Spot cleaning with a damp soapy cloth is also possible. Our Twin Z Waterproof Pillows are made of waterproof material and do not include a removable cuddle cover; however, one can be purchased separately and will fit this pillow perfectly. But, as I learned early in my marriage, I have no say in the matter, and this pillow was bought regardless. This thing is, as it turns out, a gift from above. We have two Mamaroos, which are great for putting the twins to sleep or hang out in, but this thing is the way to go when it comes to feeding them, tummy time, or anything else. Sure, it's just another way to take advantage of expectant twin parents by inflating the price. However, I would strongly advise you to try this one.
The boys were sleeping for the first time without being held in less than 5 minutes after receiving the pillow in the mail. The first time they slept in the pillow, they slept for two hours! It's a lifesaver for any twin parent.
This is an excellent twin pillow. I used it to breastfeed my twins at first, and I even took it to the hospital with me. I use it to bottle feed both of my children at the same time and to take pictures of them together. It's a great way to get some belly time while also strengthening your neck. If you have twins, this is a must-have item.
Unfortunately, you must stay a pillow or two under the front portion of this to use it effectively and not kill your back. This means that properly setting up takes an extra minute. When you've got two screaming, hungry twins on your hands, every minute counts.
This is something we use all of the time! It's the only way I'll be able to bottle-feed both twins at the same time.
