Placing the Boppy around his midsection relieves pressure on his ribcage, and placing his arms on it (forearm support while on his phone/tablet) adds to the relief of pain and pressure. Without the pain interfering, we were able to watch an entire movie, eat dinner, and spend quality time together! If you're looking for a unique way to.
It appears to be exactly as shown in the photo. I have a boppy for my house, but I frequently visit my mother. I needed a replacement cover for my boppy, but I didn't want it to feel cheap or plasticy. It was either spend $50 on a nice cover from Etsy or buy a cheap one from Amazon and risk the unknown. Make one (I made my first one, but I'm now 9 months pregnant) or buy a brand new boppy for $50 with a nice cover. I went out of my way to do this extra boppy, and boy am I glad I did. Not only is the cover of reasonable quality, but I also used the second boppy when my husband and I returned home from the hospital, as the first had been used exclusively for hospital purposes. We can't go a night without a boppy, and with a c section, it's an absolute must. Having one in the hospital changes the game entirely. I owe the thing my life!.
It's not for anyone but the super petite. The cover was lovely, but the product's size is a real disappointment. I already feel like I'm a balloon, and I'm not sure if the weight will come off any time soon, if at all. It's difficult to be a mother on an emotional, mental, and physical level. This item is not appropriate for my body type. I'm a plus-size woman who's having a hard time mentally preparing for the arrival of my first child. I'd heard nothing but good things about this pillow. In a nutshell, for me, it's a fancy neck pillow. It won't even stick to the front of my stomach. In front of everyone, he slid right off. It was extremely humiliating, and I feel like a complete failure as a result. I'll need to invest in a long, soft pillow that I can wrap around my body easily. This item is overpriced and overhyped. It's been heavily promoted, but it's been a huge letdown.
The pillow is great for feeding and supporting the baby, but the cover does not protect the pillow from bottle leaks or spit ups, so I purchased the protective cover that goes underneath separately. It would be nice if it came with the book or if the cover was made of a different material.
For each of my five children, I purchased a boppy. This is the first book I've purchased that has stitching on the front cover. I like it because it has a little texture to it, which helps me keep it on my lap.
This Boppy isn't as supportive as the standard Boppy that I also own. Compared to the cheaper version, there is literally half as much fill. I'm not sure if this is a flaw in the product or if it was designed to be softer.
The material is extremely gentle. Exactly what I needed!.
