I wash them in the top or bottom racks of the dishwasher, but I never use the heated dry cycle.
Greetings,br>We do not advise using Re- We don't recommend putting any plastic in the microwave because it gets extremely hot and can cause leaching.
I have six different colors and have not had any stains on the plates. I rinse and clean them within a few hours and have been very pleased with them thus far.
We don't know if they've been used with dementia patients specifically, but they've been used in a mental health facility because they're long-lasting and the colors appeal to people of all ages.

We've been using these plates on a daily basis for over 6 months and they're a favorite of ours. Plastics are usually hand washed, but I've thrown them in the dishwasher a few times as well. br>br>I was worried about spaghetti or ketchup staining the white plate, but it still looks brand new! I try to put them in the sink as soon as possible and rinse them, but I'll admit that I've left spaghetti on this overnight without rinsing it. (Yes, there are times when I just throw dinner in the sink and deal with it in the morning. ) There will be no stains: We use these on a daily basis! )br>br> Plates that are sturdy and easy to clean. These are something I would strongly suggest. They appear to have never been used.

- not microwave safe (this isn't a big deal for us, but it would be nice)br>br>We've always liked the Re- I'd been looking for a flat plate version of Play divided plates for a while, as they'd replaced all of the mismatched ones we had previously. We wash them on the bottom rack of the dishwasher almost every day, and they're still in great shape. They're ideal for larger foods like pizza slices, and the thick rim makes scooping food with a spoon or fork simple for children. These stack neatly to save space, and the divided plates stack with them (flat plates on the bottom, divided plates on top). I highly recommend it!.
I wanted a plate that wasn't breakable (because what toddler doesn't throw a tantrum at mealtime now and then! ), was easy to clean (because we eat a lot of spaghetti in our house and these plates don't absorb the red sauce stains - AMEN! ), as well as a plate with a high enough rim around the edge for toddlers who are still learning to use silverware. We love these plates so much that we ordered them in a variety of colors as well as the divided version, which is also fantastic! I would strongly suggest it.
Since we already had the straw cups, which we love, I just bought these plates and bowls to go with them. These plates stack nicely and have a sturdy feel to them. They'll be a great complement to our dishes, I believe. The only minor criticism I have is that the plate's lip is quite high, making it difficult to put them in the dishwasher. It could be different depending on your machine; I don't think this is a deal-breaker, but it does add a stumbling block to an otherwise excellent product.
I'd heard good things about this brand at work, so I was eager to try it out at home. I was initially pleased with them because I liked the lip around the edge and the fact that they were all white rather than a variety of colors. I've noticed that the plastic is softer than I'm used to, and that it stains easily. I suppose I should have been more aware of this when purchasing white plastic toddler plates, but I had hoped they would last a little longer than they do. Overall, I appreciate that this is a high-quality product made in the United States, but if I were to purchase again, I believe the colored plates would be more stain-resistant.
The first time my daughter ate with them, these things flew off the table. To keep these plates in place, I bought a silicone place mat for the table, which was not too inconvenient, but I would prefer to be able to use them without it.
I switched from ezpz silicone suction plates to these re-usable re-usable re-usable re-usable re-usable reusable I wanted plates that didn't separate the food, so I made play plates. I understand that the plates are vastly different, but there are a few things that irritate me:
1. When I microwave these plates, they emit a burning odor, indicating that they are not microwave safe.
2. They slide around a lot, and because they're not heavy enough, my child frequently knocks them over by accident.
3. The walls aren't very thick, and the surface area isn't very large. I understand that it is for children, so how much space do they really require, but I was hoping to be able to use them as my children grew older. br>br>However, because they're plastic plates with no grooves, they're incredibly easy to clean. I didn't think three plates for $14 was really worth it.
These are excellent plates from an excellent, environmentally conscious manufacturer. I was looking for toddler plates that didn't have any silly designs so that they could be used after the kids grew up, and these were perfect. I like that they come in a variety of colors, not just bright "kids" colors (black and white). When all of our "adult" plates are dirty, we use these. I'd buy these for guests if they had a larger version, but as it stands, we'll probably still use them for desserts. br>The deep lip edge is also a thoughtful design feature, as toddlers have a tendency to easily scale low edges when pushing food around while practicing with utensils. br>The only thing I'm concerned about is whether they'll stain or succumb to typical plastic gouges (from metal utensils) over time, but other products I've purchased from this company have done so in the past, so I'm optimistic.
