For the past six months, I've been giving this formula to my daughter, and she appears to enjoy it. There was no gas or tummy discomfort at all. I was originally using Infumil, which was given to me for free, and it was my fault for not reading the ingredients on the back, which included "high fructose corn syrup," which I believe contributed to my daughter's thrush. I did a lot of research and decided on happy baby organics as a formula that I could trust. Only four stars because, in terms of formulas, it's ridiculously expensive.
The ingredients used by this company are organic and pure. It's a hit with my daughter, and she never spits it up or out during her meals. Our pediatrician approves of it and is astounded that the ingredients used are of higher quality than other "X" big name brands that are pushing out nothing but chemicals, metals, and growth hormones that aren't listed in the "X" big name brands. The FDA has made it legal to withhold any ingredients that may be harmful or extremely harmful to our health in the United States. Growth hormones, chemicals, and metals aren't listed in name-brand formulas. And if you have any doubts, look up Monsanto to see what our country is doing to our food and ourselves. My daughter's health and life are well worth the cost of this product.

The first ingredient is lactose, and the third ingredient is lactose. Happy Baby is the only brand that meets all three criteria that I found during my research. It's a hit with the baby. For the first year of my Daughter's life, I lived for this formula! It's been a lot of fun to learn about this. We've been using it since I returned to work a month ago to supplement my milk supply, and I can't say enough about how well it blends with pumped milk. My child's stools are fantastic (yes, I'm going there), and now that he's weaned and older, stage ll meets his nutritional needs and complements his meals or dessert time.
