The first thing I noticed about this nipple balm is that it's clear, odorless, and made with organic ingredients. For those reasons alone, I prefer it to others. I was relieved to find no oil residue or ingredient transfer onto my bra after applying it; it absorbs well, and my two-year-old, who comfort feeds twice a day, didn't notice any difference. As a result, unlike with other creams, your baby will not lick his or her lips. The jar is quite large, and I intend to use it for dry/rough skin this winter as well. I'm looking forward to putting this to use now that I've had my baby girl! Lansinoh has created a fantastic product!.
Need. This! I made the mistake of using lanolin cream, which was thick and uncomfortable to apply to my sensitive nips. I was looking for a different option when I came across this one! And you guys, it's been incredibly hydrating and beneficial. Sore nips are no longer a problem! It's also safe for the baby! Even if you reinstall it and your child decides, "Hey, I want to cluster feed some more. " " What's more, it's made with organic ingredients and doesn't contain any of those pesky parabens! Throughout this wonderful breastfeeding journey, I will always have a jar on hand! I strongly suggest it!.
This organic version is far superior to the conventional version. The original cream is acceptable, but it is extremely thick and sticky. The only complaint I have is that it is only available in a jar and not a tube. I don't like sticking my fingers in the jar repeatedly to put somewhere I know I need to be very clean because I'm providing food for my baby, even though my hands are always clean.
This balm worked wonders for me. I also use it as a lip balm for both of us. It only takes a little to make a big difference! I was in the hospital for two days after giving birth to my daughter and didn't use anything, so my nipples were chapped, and I'd apply and walk around bra-less, and they improved in ONE DAY! I'll also say that at this point, I use it for pretty much anything. My sunburned arms, lip balm, and cracked feet It works like a charm. If you're thinking about switching up your nipple balm, DONT. This is the one, I guarantee it! Since November, I've been using the same jar, and it's now April. You won't be sorry, ladies, because a little goes a long way.
I used balms a lot when my baby was first born and haven't really needed one in a while, but baby got two teeth a month ago and drew blood, and I got this just in time to help me heal quickly and soothe the pain and dryness. Since starting to breastfeed 6 months ago, I've tried a few different brands of lanolin and the Boobease balm. I'd rather have this than either of those. This is devoid of color and odor! This is a lot more neutral than the other organic balm I use, which has a yellowish tint and a slight olive oil scent. It's a lot less sticky, soothing, and soft to apply than lanolin. The glass gar and tin lid are also very appealing. It's both cute and useful. I've decided to use this for all of my future breastfeeding needs!.
I'm a working mother who breastfeeds three times per day. Others are more expensive and you don't get as much product as this one, so it's a good deal. The texture is easy to spread, similar to softened coconut oil, and there are no "beads" or "sand" particles to break down, as with another popular nipple cream. This product has been purchased three times, demonstrating my enthusiasm for it.
Among all the organic nipple creams I've tried, this one has the softest texture. It's very moist, smells good to me (a very faint coconut scent that you won't notice if you don't have a strong nose), and leaves no stain! It's also something I use before pumping. br>However, I didn't use it for the first two weeks, and PP and breastfeeding were still painful the third week. Lansinoh's lanolin isn't my first choice.
I had no idea this would be so smooth and simple to use when I first tried it. It melts in your hands and does not leave a stain on your clothing like other creams. I would strongly suggest it. It also has no odor and does not bother the baby.
