Although it is small, it does not require the use of a large amount of product each time it is used. I believe the cream is overpriced in comparison to the other products, which are all very useful.

In theory, this kit contains excellent products, but the quality of some of the items, unfortunately, falls short. br>br>The lanolin cream is fantastic, and it's a total lifesaver if you're breastfeeding or exclusively pumping. The tube is tiny, but with lanolin, a little goes a long way, so it's fine, especially if you want to try a few different lanolin creams to see which one you like best. br>br>The gel heating pad is great, but it doesn't stay hot for very long, so you'll have to reheat it if you're trying to clear a blocked duct or need it to stay warm for a long pumping session to try to boost The covers are also made of super cheap synthetic material; I hated to be so wasteful, but they were terrible, so I threw them away and made my own out of cotton flannel. br>br>The breast pads are fine if you only leak a little bit, but they won't hold up if you leak a lot. Medela pads are thicker and absorbent than regular pads. With these, my entire shirt and bra would be soaked in an hour, but with the medela pads, I could stay up all night. They're low-profile, so they won't show under your clothes if you're not a heavy daytime leaker, which is nice when you're feeling like a dairy farm and want to leave the house looking like a human for a change. The nipple everter, on the other hand, is a superstar. This item is the bee's knees if you have flat, inverted nipples, slow/fast let down, or simply a baby who has difficulty latching. I used this to start the let down because it was happening too quickly for my baby and she was gagging. br>br>In general, I'd recommend skipping the kit and buying the lanolin cream, nipple everter, or breast pads separately.
I bought this before having my first child because I wasn't sure how well I'd be able to breastfeed. The starter kit's contents are useful, but I discovered that some of them were unnecessary. At the hospital, they gave me a latch assist (same brand), my let down is super slow, so I don't need the breast pads (which are great for holding warm water when you have a blocked duct), and I don't like lanolin (I use Boob-It). Instead, because it is natural and organic, it is more convenient. ) The 3- 1 pack of hot and cold packs is fantastic! As I previously stated, my let down is extremely slow, so I heated them up and placed them on my breast for approximately 15 minutes. I find that waiting 10 minutes before pumping helps. Because one of my hot/cold packs was damaged by my microwave (which heated unevenly because my turntable was broken), I had to purchase a new set. ) If you buy them separately, they come with a nice cover to protect your breast from the heat; however, if you buy this kit, you don't get the cover. As a result, I give it a four-star rating because the heat packs are included in the package.
The extra sanitary features (perforated edges must be removed from each bag, and there is an extra area that must be pulled apart before getting to the double zippier) give you peace of mind that your milk won't be contaminated. They're made of a thick, well-made material. I would strongly advise any mother looking for a good storage bag to get this one! These are also very reasonably priced on Amazon.
Overall, I was underwhelmed by this collection, but that was largely due to my failure to read the contents carefully. I was surprised to learn that the Lansinoh lanolin sample was so small. This was a disappointment in terms of size tube. Also included was a kit cane with a nipple everter, which I never used. The cold packs for the breasts were the only thing that made the rally worthwhile. These came in handy when my milk started to come in and I was feeling particularly bloated. They did not, however, stay cold for very long, which was a disappointment. Instead of this set, I would buy the cold packs and a separate tube of lanolin in the future. Alternatively, instead of using cold packs, use frozen vegetables!.
It was a present for my sister, who recently gave birth! It was one of the most thoughtful gifts she had ever received, she said. Getting her infant to latch on to her was extremely beneficial. Everything is included, including the pads, suction, and bags. Was so useful that she advised me to get another if I didn't already have one. As a result, I'll be keeping an eye on this.
I'm glad I didn't need the rest of the box's contents, but I'm sure they'd come in handy for someone else. The nipple cream is fantastic; it relieves sore nipples quickly and has the added benefit of not requiring cleaning before feedings. I wipe anyway, but it helps me to be less concerned. Oh, I almost forgot! The breast pads were only used once, on the day I was discharged from the hospital. They did a great job of keeping me in place while wearing my backless dress.
I purchased this set because it was less expensive than purchasing the heating pads separately. I adore the heating pads, but I have yet to try freezing them. Every time I pump, I warm them in the microwave for 30 seconds before doing so. The instructions state that each should be in for 20 seconds, but I found that 30 seconds was more effective. It is extremely beneficial in terms of dealing with disappointment. Nursing pads aren't my favorite thing. I despise how sticky they are, and how they cling to my shirt, but-- It was only the heating pads that I was after.
I bought it before the baby was born because I didn't know what I'd need. The items are of good quality, but I found them to be less useful than other purchases: br>br>Nipple everter (br>br>Nipple everter (br>br>Nipple everter A nipple shield, at least in my case, makes more sense and is less messy/awkward. br>Lanolin cream: I was given soothie gel pads at the hospital and told that I couldn't use lanolin at the same time; however, the soothie gel pads were a godsend, and I only used this lanolin sparingly. I now use a compound formula prescribed by my doctor on an as-needed basis to relieve occasional discomfort. Lanolin, on the other hand, does not appear to provide the same level of immediate relief. br>Packs for breast therapy: I haven't needed them for mastitis yet, but I suppose having them on hand is a good idea. br>Breast pads are a type of breast pad that is used to support the female reproductive organs. I prefer reusable bamboo pads, but having a few of these on hand in case of an emergency is a good idea.
