I've been looking for a job that allows me to work from home for quite some time. the- For months, turn up the heat. I had hoped to find one that could be plugged into a car outlet, but there was none. br>br>This was on Amazon's suggested reading list, and I thought it was ridiculous. Come on, let's be honest - Is there a bottle warmer made specifically for Tommee Tippee? It has to be junk at that price. br>br>After much searching, I came to the conclusion that "what the he**?" I'm going to take the plunge. "THIS THING HAS CHANGED MY LIFE! "br>br> br>No more warming a bottle with my hands, thighs, or behind my bra. br>No more paying. 99 for a "cup" that can be filled with hot water and used to warm a bottle. br>No more requesting a bowl or other container of hot water from a waiter and watching them struggle to find something that will fit a Tommee Tippee bottle. (Because you're well aware that they're chubby!) br>br>All you have to do is boil some water before leaving, put it in a thermos, and go! Advantages: br>br> br>Keeps water hot (enough) to keep a bottle warm for HOURS! From 9 a. m. to 1 p. m. , the water at Texas RenFest was warm. br>The white cup is the ideal size for holding the TT bottle. "Just a thermos" doesn't give you that. "br>The white cup sits on top of the thermos, keeping everything together. To pour water into the cup, you don't need to remove the thermos' top. br>Hassle-free - There's no need to look for a power supply - If you're at your other child's soccer game/swim meet/scouting event in the middle of nowhere, you won't have to rush back to the car. br>Not only Tommee Tippee, but any other drink or food can be heated in the cup. When I first started looking for it, it wasn't available. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. br>If you overfill the thermos and try to close it, you might get burned by the hot water (this is not the thermos' fault). (True story)br>It's difficult to remember whether or not the thermos is open. On her way back from somewhere, my mother left it open, and some water leaked out. br>It's just another item to lug around. (But, hey, you're already carrying 20 pounds of gear, so what's a little more?) br>The cup is too large to fit in a car cup holder, so you'll have to hold it if you're driving. br>br>If I know we'll be out for a while, I'll refill the thermos with the water from the cup. It can be difficult to find a suitable location to dispose of the water after use. br>br>I sincerely hope that my review of this item has been of assistance to you. I read a lot of reviews but wasn't convinced until I bought and used the product myself. br>br>NOTE: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is the place to be This item was not purchased to keep water hot so that I could make bottles. I bought it solely for the purpose of keeping warm. I wouldn't make bottles with the water that was poured back in. If you did not return the used water to the container, you can use it to make bottles and warm bottles. (I just wanted to make sure I said that so no one thinks I'm giving my kid dirty water!).

EXCELLENT bottle warmer for travel! We adore this warmer and take it with us almost everywhere we go! The water remains hot for a long time!! We've done about 6-hours at the most. It's been 8 hours and it's still piping hot and steaming when I pour it, and it quickly warms up my daughter's bottle! I bought it because we're going on vacation at the end of April, and I've been trying to come up with ways to heat her bottle in the airport without having to take it into the bathroom (YUCK) and heat it under a hot water faucet. After doing some research, I discovered that this is a great option because it is simple to ask for boiling water for the thermos at a Starbuck's or any restaurant in the airport. This way, we can avoid using the restroom sinks, as well as cords that need to be plugged into the wall, bulky bottle warmers, and, as I previously stated, cords that need to be plugged into the wall. This product has exceeded my expectations, and the price is excellent. It is much larger than I expected, as mentioned by a previous reviewer. However, I think this is a great feature because any bottle I've put inside it has a lot of water around it, which I believe helps it heat up faster. It won't fit in a cup holder in your car. However, I would not attempt this while driving, so it is irrelevant to me. You don't have to fill it completely, just enough to submerge the bottle, so there's always enough water for a second or third bottle (we're using the 4 oz bottles right now). In any case, I'm thinking of buying another one just in case. This is something I'm going to buy for any future baby showers I go to! Definitely not a product I would have thought to request until the need arose. 5 out of 5!.

The thermos itself keeps water hot for a long time; we filled it with boiling water in the hopes that it would stay warm for at least 6 hours, which it did. My husband burned his hand on it because it was still so hot, and the water we had in there when we returned home was still hot! The outer lid is the perfect size for warming a bottle. Because of all the stickers on the outside, which appear to be meant to stay on because they have instructions and such, I gave "easy to clean" four stars. We're currently filling it with water, so we usually just clean the inside of the lid and call it a day. Some people were upset because it was just a thermos that was being sold as a bottle warmer, but we saw that as a benefit. So many times, you will receive baby items that you will never use again. When we're done warming bottles, we'll be able to use it as a regular thermos.

Since then, I've purchased (and returned) five more, four of which are defective, with leaky covers and water pouring out everywhere. I called Tommy Tippee and expressed my dissatisfaction, but they said they would take my comments into consideration and forward them to the team. I wish I could buy more, but I always return them. Whoever is currently producing these is not taking the time to ensure that they function properly, and as a result, they have lost a customer. Now I just need to figure out what else I can do to keep the water hot. Fortunately, one of them is still operational, so we can use the cover to keep the bottles warm. br>br>Don't get me wrong, this is a 5-star thermos, but this review is only worth two stars because I've had nothing but problems recently.
