I had problems with the steam heating system a few weeks after my baby was born, and I was unable to return it to Amazon because the return deadline had passed. As a result, I contacted Papablic directly and informed them of my faulty unit. They responded the same day I sent the email and asked for proof of purchase as well as a photo of the defect. Ryan from customer service responded within minutes and informed me that I would be receiving a replacement within two days. As promised, I received my units in two days. I have no complaints; the machine functions admirably, and customer service is excellent when necessary.
This is my first time as a dad. I'm no fool; I watched hidden killers of the Victorian home for less than two weeks. Baby bottles are convenient, but they have the potential to kill. Bioling your gear for 10 minutes is taxing on it and requires a significant amount of time and effort. The Papablic comes with packaging that makes the iPhone look like a piece of junk. br>br>Custom bottle sterilizers are single-use and expensive. br>br> The instructions are clear and easy to follow and are printed right on the box. Pour 100ml of stilled water onto the bottom plate, then fill it with the goods and let it rip. br>br>Stuff comes out DRY and STERILE; don't think this is just for babies; I'm sterilizing my plastic water cups, mouth guards, and whatever else I can think of. This will be useful long after the baby has started eating solid foods. br>br>Cleanup is fantastic. Fill the plate with 80ml white vinegar and 20ml distilled water, drain it, and move on to the next batch. br>br>Finally, the price is unbeatable. br>br>So, I rinse my bottles after each use, wash them in warm soapy water, rinse them again, and then place them in the Papablic, where this Papa is sleeping soundly (well, not really, I have a newborn), but at least I know she is bacteria-free. Last but not least, if you think I'm on the take, you're mistaken. I purchased this on my own and am so pleased with it that I decided to write a review about it. You'll understand what I'm talking about if you get one.
I was hesitant to buy a sterilizer for a long time. My primary concern was finding a sterilizer that could also dry, as well as one that was reasonably priced. br>The instructions are simple and straightforward, and my sterilizer was up and running in a matter of minutes. Please keep in mind that you will need to run your sterilizer through a few empty cycles before using it for the first time, so allow 2 to 3 hours from the time you set it up until you can use it. br>For the past few months, I've used this sterilizer several times a day, every day. Evenflo bottles, MAM bottles, and pump parts are all sterilized with it. You can easily fit 4 5oz evenflo bottles and 2 5oz MAM bottles, as you can see in the photo I attached. My only regret is that breastpumps and bottles come with a lot of "little parts" that have to go into the small basket, which means I have to run the sterilizer several times to get everything clean. br>I used filtered water, but the base requires cleaning with a vinegar solution on a regular basis (I try to do it once a week). It doesn't take up a lot of room on the counter. br>Here are some "pointers" to consider: br>* Before putting the parts in the sterilizer, they must be prewashed. I soak all of the pieces in a large clean bowl filled with warm soapy water before rinsing them thoroughly before placing them in the sterilizer. br>* I start by filling the base, then the large basket, which I fill with bottles, and finally the small basket, which I fill with bottles. The bottles in the basket will fall all over the place if the base is filled last. br>* Although the sterilizer does not get very hot, the steam that comes out of the top travels quite far, so keep it out of reach of children and pets while it is in use. Allow plenty of time for it to cool before emptying it. br>* The pieces are not always perfectly dry, and you may need to lay them out to dry again after a cycle (this happens to me about once every 7 to 8 uses).
This bottle sterilizer/dryer has undergone extensive testing. This is something I've used on a daily basis for almost ten months. Since she was a few days old, I've been pumping. As a result, hundreds of parts pass through this equipment each week. I estimated that I went through about 100 bottle/pump parts per day at one point. It's still going strong! I'm very pleased with the product's durability and quality; it's also quite large, which is ideal for me because I use Comotomo bottles and have a lot of spare parts. The nipples on Comotomo bottles are enormous, and they take up a lot of room. As a result, I strategically pack my sterilizer. If properly packed, it can accommodate a large number of parts. Furthermore, they are extremely dry when they emerge from the sterilizer. Wet bottle parts have never caused me any issues. If you don't want to bother with distilled water every time you sterilize, the heating element can be descaled with cleaning vinegar and comes out looking good. All bottle parts must be washed by hand before being placed in the sterilizer. It isn't a dishwashing machine. As a result, the milk residue will not be removed. Anyway, I'm very happy with this purchase, and I believe it was one of the best purchases I made in preparation for the birth of my child.
My child was born two weeks ago and has only recently begun to use it. I've had it for about three years. I've been washing the heating plate four times a day for the past nine days, and I'm not sure what to do about the brown stain. White vinegar and water should be poured until the limescale is dissolved, according to the instructions. My second photo was taken after an hour of leaving the solution in the heating pad. Descale the dryer at least once a week, according to the instructions. Ummm. I do this once a day, and the result is still the same. It's also a permanent stain. At this time, I'm not sure if it's safe to use on my baby. What a waste of time.
