Questions & Answers

What about Medela bottles? Will these nipples work with them?

The bottles and rings they work with came from Medela. Unless people are saying no because the rings don't snap like the medela nipples do on the bottle or like they do on the Dr Brown's bottle, I think they're saying no because they don't break. We have used only the level 1 nipples and medela bottles with our almost four month old twins and they do not leak at all. It's going to be great! I just ordered level 2 and I'm super

Can thesenipples PBA be accessed for ?

The answer is yes. No evidence of the Professional Bowlers Association can be found on these nipsles.

What do you think about these nipples fitting ?

I had no problems using them with all the bottles I had with my Ameda

What is the quality of the glass bottle used by Dr. Brown?

No, it does fit Dr Brown glass bottles very well (I bought it for my own Dr Brown

This is the perfect product for breastfeeding mothers! The flow is not as rapid as it appears
5/5

It seems okay to me. Being a breastfeeding mother and a working mother, I knew my son would eventually have to drink milk from a bottle one day. My registration for the Avent Naturals and Dr. Brown's bottles had been completed and I had received the Level 1 slow flow nipples just as I had been instructed. My husband gave my son his first bottle approximately three weeks after breastfeeding was established to get him used to them. I continued to pump and my son started drinking bottles about a week later. The Avents began to work for him, and he performed well But he finished the bottle so fast! He finished the bottle in less than 10 minutes, but at regular feedings he would nursing for a good 20 minutes on each side. It did not matter how slowly he nipped, the milk was dripping out of his mouth and he spat up more as well. Medela Calma and Breastflow are good bottles for nursing babies that I found when I researched bottles. He took both of them, but he would keep finishing the bottles too early. I ordered them, but my son would still finish them Usually, the problem with bottles with breastfed babies is that they get too used to getting milk that way and don't want to go back to the breast. At the breast, babies have to work for it, so they are not used to As I didn't want to risk jeopardizing our nursing relationship, I read more and found some posts from moms who had recommended Dr. Brown's nipples. Nipples for preemies are something I didn't even know existed. The thought occurred to me. How the heck is that even possible? was able to get them in and they have made a big For my son to complete a 3, he takes at least 20 minutes if not 30 minutes. Is 5 or 6 The bottle is 4 ounces. As long as he works for it, he doesn't drip or spit up anymore. And because he's not drowning in milk, he doesn't drip or spit up anymore. These would sell much better if Dr. Brown's would market them for breastfeeding The products are amazing! I have told several friends who breastfeed about them, and they've all.

My little one will love it- When they are 7 weeks old, they are still adorable
5/5

As a result of these programs, my daughter, who spent about a week in NICU as she was losing oxygen when she tried to feed, is now thriving. She was only able to settle the issue when she was placed on slow-flowing Nevertheless, as she has grown and we moved into bigger bottles, I have noticed she has been struggling to even achieve Level 1 nipples from With these, I could immediately see that she was more comfortable and that less milk leaked from her mouth. She also coughed, spit up, and overall it really just made her feeding time a lot more relaxed. Currently, we use them in Dr. Brown's bottles, but I found that they fit the "Parent's Choice" bottles from Walmart as well. She is now 7 weeks old and we will use them until she is two years old. A NEW UPDATE has been made Despite the preemie nipples, my daughter is now 16 weeks old (4 months) and we are still using them. Originally, I was planning to go up to level 1, but she still seems content with these, so I just ordered a fresh set of them.

When I realized Brown's makes Ultra Preemie, I knew Brown's was our best bet
5/5

I have found these to be absolutely invaluable! It was a challenge to keep up with flow for our daughter, who was born nearly a month early. She feeds either directly from the breast or by pumping milk into I tried countless brands of "slow flow" and specialty bottles, but he would still choke, gurgle, cough, and gag. He swallowed a lot of air at the same time as he was gasping. As a result, the baby had an upset tummy and was very fussy. It is the only truly slow-moving vehicle out there These are some flow nipples that I've realizing they made Ultra Preemie, I thought regular Babies Brown's nipples were our best choice. My opinion is that these two things are very different! In the event that you need something slow, I would skip the regular preemies and go straight to these. He's doing great with bottles, and he's even taking some breastfeeds straight from the breast now that he knows how to pace himself a little. The nipples definitely improved him switching from bottle to breast, and he has not had any issues since then.

I would highly recommend purchasing these if you are experiencing problems with feeding or need a slow-feeding method. It is the nipple of the flow. It has been a pleasure working with them! The following update has been made Nine months later, we're still using ultra preemie nipples and sometimes preemie ones. As a result, he takes 2 bottles a day and breastfeeds the rest of the time because learning to switch from breast to bottle still involves some effort, since while the bottle flow is slow, the breast flow is continuous. Our top priority is to stay with these brands and lower flows, so we've tried moving to other brands and faster flows. Breastfed babies are highly recommended to use this product!.

My little one and my sanity are both saved
5/5

I will try to keep it short on why this helped me and my 1 month old son In just about a week, I've used this for all of my babies, and they've never thrown up since I started using it! This is the first time I've fed him without him screaming constantly for more food, or having acid reflux problems, or gas. Here is some background information about my journey and the journey of my baby so far A baby boy weighing 8 lbs 11 ounces was born. I wouldn't call this a preterm baby or even an early term one. After my family and even my pediatrician kept urging me to give him more food, I admitted that I was right. He would be better fed if I fed more to him. 3 meals a day would be appropriate for him We recommend consuming 4oz of breast milk per feeding and 4oz of formula per feeding. My son kept screaming and acting like he wasn't satisfied, as a first-time mom, I felt that was too much. However, he kept acting hungry even after two hours. A different doctor told me that he had acid reflux from too much food, so he began screaming. I took him to a different doctor, and he told me I had been feeding him too much. He is also a very gassy baby, so this is also contributing to his discomfort. However, he has been getting so much food now that he has become accustomed to getting a lot at once. In fact, I switched from Phillips bottles to Dr. bottles a while ago. It came to me as Brown bottles, with a size 1 nipple and I dropped him back down to put him back on his eating schedule You should feed your dog 2 oz per time. Despite the Phillips literally shooting in his mouth, the 1 size Nipple he got from Dr. Brown helped, but he was still screaming just as much as if I had overfed him because he was still getting a lot all Finally, I bought these because I thought, "if I can help him eat it slower, he might feel full faster, and maybe he won't keep acting as though he's hungry, and maybe his reflux will go away. " This seems like a good idea to him since he loves sucking, so it made perfect sense to me. I was right, and it made a huge difference to him. As soon as he went back to bed without screaming at me after eating, I literally cried tears of joy. * I ask that other new moms please take the following advice Don't second-guess yourself. Your instincts are on the right track. Since I first ordered these, I have been feeling bad about them for the past two weeks, and this is the first time I have felt good about them.
