Questions & Answers

Does it fit Tommee Tippee bottles in this bottle warmer?

It can be used with any type of bottle.

Is it necessary to use glass bottles, or are plastic bottles acceptable?

Dr. Brown's bottles are the ones that I use. All of the bottles are plastic, but I believe you can warm glass food jars and any bottle style. This is fantastic. However, make sure you're using filtered water. The heater at the bottom can be ruined simply by hard water. 

I'm looking for a formula warmer that runs on batteries. ?

This one, unfortunately, is a plug-in. br>Thank you very much.

Is it compatible with the Avent Natural bottles?

I had to remove the top ring part, but it fit the avent naturals perfectly, and Dr. Brown's was the only bottle I could fit without removing the ring.

My husband is willing to give her a bottle, but I didn't want to make her wait and cry for ten minutes
4/5

I wanted to come on here and write a review for anyone who is debating whether or not they should buy this. Yes! It is well worth the effort! I've never seen a bottle warmer that works so quickly. At the moment, my baby is waking up one at a time. Twice a night is recommended. My husband is willing to give her a bottle, but I didn't want to make her wait and cry for ten minutes while our old bottle warmer warmed it up. This device, on the other hand, heats it up in less than 90 seconds! Other reviews that complain about it being "too hot" are clearly written by people who haven't read the instructions carefully. It's all explained in detail in the instructions. You pour the water into the bottle with a measuring cup they provide based on the temperature and size of the bottle, and it comes out perfectly; if you add too much water, it will heat up too long and come out too hot, and if you don't use enough, it will come out too cold. My husband and I just tested how much water to add based on the temperature of the milk (refrigerated or room temperature) and it's perfect every time, so you might have to experiment a little. The only reason I gave it four stars is that the outside of the bottle is a little hot, so you can't grab it right away (you have to wait a few seconds), even though the milk is at the perfect temperature.

It's difficult to use, and it's disappointing
3/5

I had one of these when my first child was born, and it was incredibly simple to use and useful. This newer version is as follows: Not in the least. Depending on the size of bottle you're warming, you used to add some water and turn a timer knob, but now there's this little plastic container that slides in. When the baby is crying and you're rushing to warm a bottle, you shouldn't have to fill it with a precise amount of water depending on how warm you want the milk and how big the bottle is. The container's lid gets in the way, and the amount of water you need to add is either 1) too small to easily overfill it, or 2) you don't get the measurements right, and the milk over or under heats! And if you underheat it, you'll have a real problem because it won't let you run it for more than a few seconds before shutting down to cool down, forcing you to wait. They clearly didn't think this new version through, and they didn't put it to the test in front of a screaming baby! They don't realize that a baby's bottle or milk isn't always the same size or amount at each feeding. I feed him 4 ozs, 6 ozs, and 8 ozs at times, so you have to adjust the water amount based on the milk level, which varies a lot, so there's no set number you'd fill the container to every time—this leads to inconsistent temperature results. Return to Munchkin's original model. You completely missed the mark on this one, and it compelled me to purchase a Baby Breva. It was disappointing.

What a fantastic purchase! I'm an avid Amazon shopper who rarely takes the time to leave a review, but this bottle warmer is deserving of one! My old bottle warmer used to take up to 8 hours to heat up
5/5

Warming a bottle from the refrigerator takes about 10 minutes. a lot of time! Before purchasing this one after it died, I read a lot of reviews. First and foremost, it's quick! Follow the directions carefully when removing the basket to avoid being burned by the steam. It takes a few tries to figure out which line to use with the water container, but I found that the suggested line worked well for us. We use Tommee Tippee bottles, which fit perfectly, and make sure to start with the same temperature milk every time. I added a semi-colon to the end of the sentence. It's understandable that a freshly pumped bottle in a warmer would become too warm; it was warmer to begin with. People who posted photos of broken glass bottles obviously didn't read the pamphlet that says to use tempered glass bottles to avoid cracking. Those who post photos of the entire construction process. Get up and talk about how disgusting it is, then drink some mineral-rich water. When you boil water, you get something like this. I have a jug of distilled water that I use, and the inside of my refrigerator has remained spotless for the past two months. Overall, this is a great product for the price, and it comes in handy when you're awake in the middle of the night. Always check the temperature before feeding your baby, but it's perfectly safe if you do it consistently.

a gift from above Bought 2
5/5

This bottle warmer is a big hit with us. . . . especially late at night or when she's on a feeding binge. We bought another one because we liked it so much. br>br>Easy to use, warms up quickly, and is travel-friendly. It takes a few tries to get a sense of how the warmer heats up. Although the water measurement guidelines are a good place to start, you'll need to make some adjustments because bottles vary in shape, size, and material thickness. More water = more steam = more heat, so we discovered that a little less water than recommended provided the perfect amount of warmth. Before feeding the baby, mix the liquid around and test it, just as you would with any other heating method.

Love it! It's preferable if you can make a bottle as quickly as possible
4/5

It's simple to use and understand. Before a nighttime feeding, I love being able to fill a bottle with water and have steamable water ready to go. When your baby is crying, the time it takes to heat up feels like an eternity, but for 8 oz of chilled water, it only takes a minute or so. I use Dr. Brown's plastic bottles, but I also have a few glass bottles. You can use even less time (water) to heat in the glass because it heats up quickly. When I first remove the bottle (whether plastic or glass), I use a napkin or towel because the condensation on the sides of the bottle is quite warm. The bottle cools down in about 10 seconds, but this is just a heads up for when you're dealing with it for the first time!.
