Besides my 8 months old chest AND stomach, it covers my head as well. Even though it doesn't have a pocket, it is still cute, and I didn't know that at the time it was purchased. This would be perfect for a child who's older because of how big it is.

The picture should not have been the only thing I looked at. I should have read reviews. Plastic bibs of this type are thin and plastic. Initially I thought it was a There was a mistake on my part. It has only been a few months since the plastic backing on this item flaked off. This is pretty poor quality when you factor in that I hand wash it half the time. The cloth diapers and diaper covers that I use have a similar plastic backing, but they are much more heavily washed on a more frequent basis, and they last much longer It's actually really cute, but I definitely going to buy an all silicone one next time. I'm so disappointed with it.
