We have the Playtex Diaper Genie Elite in our nursery diaper pail system, and I am very happy with it. This is an introduction to the report As for refill bags, I usually use the Playtex diaper genie or the Up & Up I usually use Up refills, but the Mama Bear Refill bags were a good price, so I decided to give them a try. Despite their low price, they are just as good, or even better (compared to brand name Playtex bag refills). Both Mama Bear and Playtex feel durable and are built the same way. I can feel, see, smell, and see exactly the same qualities in these two products with my eyes and fingers (see photo of them in my fingers with their opened packaging). It does not seem like there is any difference between the Mama Bear and Playtex when it comes to holding a large amount of diapers (no rips or strains). In terms of quality, Playtex and Mama Bear are both equal. This package is in a cardboard box The same thing can be said for Mama Bear and Playtex. The same color, the same markings, the same size, and the same weight appear to be the same. the side label were to be removed from the Mama Bear and Playtex sanitary pads, I would not be able to tell which was which (see the photo comparisons for more information). They are cheaper and the quality is the same. Like the OEM Playtex brand Diaper Genie refills, the generic "Mama Bear" brand Diaper Genie refills appear to be manufactured by Playtex. My original Playtex branded ones are installed now and these will replace them. There are a few things I noticed. Playtex, Schick, Wet Ones and other brands are all trademarks or distributed by or under license from Edgewell Personal Care Brands LLC (parent company of Playtex, Schick, Wet Ones, etc. ). I don't think my Genie will go well with this. The plastic on the refil had to be cut to fit, so I had to use scissors to make it fit. Getting a refund is a hassle. It helped me a lot to read reviews here before I bought There were some reports of them ripping easily. Others said the smell could not be contained by them. However, I bought them anyway because they were half the price, and let's be honest here for a minute, It is normal for things to get broken and smell when you have a baby. There's no reason behind it. Over the course of about a year and a half, I used "name brand" refills. It broke as soon as I broke it. It was a diaper genie issue that I fixed. Knowing its inner workings is second nature to me. If you told me that these weren't made on the same factory floor as those brand-name refills, using the same materials, I would honestly be surprised. The two are as close to identical as I could wish for. Are they ripe or not? There are times when I do. This has only happened once in each of the last three refills. The frequency of the refills in the 1 is about the same as the name brand refills It has been five years since I have Does it stink when they're around? There are times when I do. Even if you send the 2 year old to grammy's house for the week when the cheese lets go, there's no stopping the olfactory onslaught when your 2 year old is being fed rutabagas and cheese for a week. Several years later, I bought the same bags for my son (it's the same company), but the quality dropped or my son took much bigger dumps. During the seaming process, I had six failures. Having to deal with something like that is not enjoyable. As far as I can tell, there was no overload. Since I was saving a few dollars, I thought it would be a good idea to buy In what circumstances could something go terribly wrong? It has been the worst thing that has happened so far because I regret not taking action So far I have not failed one time, and I am definitely over stuffing the sacks. The feel and odor of the plastic are at least on par with the name brand, though I haven't used them as long as the originals. You can't really smell the odor of the new ones, but the old ones did where I had odor problems. If I am disappointed with a seam on this brand, I will take out a star.
When I handled our first shipment, I used standard bags. It's cheaper, but the quality is bad. Our first baby was in standard bags, which worked out just fine. I purchased these "generic" bags for my second daughter and every time the bag rips, the bag fills up. Whenever I try to take it out of the diaper genie, it rips off. Pulling it through the top opening, it rips I try to fix it That's a ripper. The plastic is bad quality in general.
