There's no doubt it's much thinner than regular desitin, but it might be a bit more oily so that's why it might leave a mark on a darker cloth diaper. Although I never have to worry about the clothes of my children getting stained
Although mine had a stated expiration date of 2 years, I have gone through it in about 8 months, and the expiration date is imprinted closely across the top of where they seal the ointment.

Boudreaux is one of my favorite brands of butt pastes, and the sensitive skin product is my favorite. My daughter has always had very sensitive skin and often breaks out in rashes and yeast rashes if she is not changed right after a bathroom visit. In addition to keeping the prescription Nystatin cream on longer, this product helps prevent her yeast rash from growing. She uses it when using a Nystatin product since it's thicker than Boudreaux's regular butt paste. This product would have made more sense months ago, but I will continue to order this brand until I am no longer required to do so.
A rash was on its way to my baby when she used this cream. The same brand (yellow color) has been my protector of choice for years and I'm in love with it, except that it leaves stains on clothing and it smells. I thought this might work to soothe my baby's skin since it is white and fragrance-free, but it caused him to be red. Since the week I brought my son home, we've used Boudreauxs. I prefer the sensitive version since there's no smell and no yellow color to the paste like the original one. I've never had a problem with my son's bottom since we started using them!.
This stuff hasn't caused me to get a bad diaper rash, probably because I use it. My baby's bum looks a little red, but I apply a small amount of this to the bum with a Baby Bum Brush, and it clears it up immediately. Putting it on my baby is easy, and she doesn't seem to mind it at all.
Normally, I purchase only the red product in the red container, but my baby had a diaper rash, so I decided to try the "sensitive skin" product. As a result, I found it hard to spread and harder to apply. I also did not enjoy the fact that the area is already sensitive. I just don't like how thick it is.
There is no good protection provided by this device. A different brand has given me better results.
My son's rash was getting worse after a few other products I tried failed to help. After the first or second application, it is effective. You're doing a great job!.
