Give these to a teething child only if he or she is not teething. Rubber can be chewed off in small pieces. These are not good for teething or biting babies. I purchased a similar (almost identical) set of toothbrushes from a different seller, but they were a few dollars cheaper, so I assumed the quality would be comparable to the ones I had previously purchased. I had made a huge mistake. My 19-month-old son continues to eat everything. He bit the handle of the previous ones we had in his mouth the entire time, but they were fine. Except for these, nothing else fell apart. The bristles were falling out and the rubber part by the handle was crumbling after three days of use; luckily, I noticed it right away and stopped my son from chewing it off. The rubber pieces could have gone down my son's throat! I am extremely dissatisfied with the quality of these and will be returning them.
Because my son is teething, he chewed the rubber off easily and could have choked if I hadn't intervened.
From the time she was about a year old, I let her use these for supervised play. She used to be wary of me brushing her teeth, but now she enjoys it, and I believe it's because she can explore and play with these toy toothbrushes on her own. I haven't had any loose bristles like some other reviewers, and my daughter hasn't tried to chew the rubber off the handle, so I can't comment on that. Despite the problems that others have had, my daughter and I have had a lot of fun with this product.
He bit down on the bristle, which disintegrated and spilled into his mouth! It had to be around ten years ago. In his mouth, he has 15 bristles. I'm hoping I was successful in getting them all out and that he didn't swallow any. His toddler toothbrush is of a different brand, and the bristles do not come out! Keep your wits about you and exercise caution!.
Unlike some of the other reviewers, I believe this is a good product; I have 17-month-old twins and was looking for something that they could easily hold and that would encourage them to practice good oral hygiene. br>The first night, I placed the toothbrushes in their highchairs and kept an eye on them to ensure that nothing went wrong. For about ten minutes, I let them "play" with the. There were a couple of bristles that were slightly dislodged afterward, but none of them were coming out. Bristles can come out of any toothbrush if it is used too hard. This is not a toy that should be left unattended by toddlers. There is a risk of serious injury if a toddler falls with the product in their mouth. br>I recommend this product, but only if it is used while the toddler is supervised.
This brush is one of my favorites, as is my 15-month-old son. Our teether pulled some of the bristles out while gnawing on the thing, so it's a good handle for little hands and easy to use. I'm still giving it five stars because I shouldn't have let him chew on the brush in the first place. In any case, any parent is aware that it occurs because it keeps their child from screaming! But I'd buy it again in a heartbeat!.
Although they are difficult to clean, they should be replaced on a regular basis. This toothbrush has been a hit with both of my boys because the head is small enough for baby's mouths and the handle is enjoyable to hold and chew. br>br>At home, we don't use these toothbrushes as teethers on a regular basis. They'd get too dirty and impossible to clean, in my opinion. I noticed that the rubber part in the handle was falling apart, so I wouldn't recommend using these as teethers; instead, use them for occasional play and chewing while brushing your teeth.
We hand it to him once we've finished brushing his MANY teeth, and he can easily grip it by inserting his little thumb into the hole. He keeps brushing his teeth by himself. Even though they are shorter than regular tooth brushes, I believe other toddler tooth brushes are too long, and I am concerned that he will gag.
