I'm at a loss for words. It's what I'm using on my cat, who has a chronic URI. It was a huge success.
For my allergic cat, I purchased six different types of snot suckers. Neilmed comes in second place. This one has a SOFT flexible tip that can be inserted into the nostril. The majority of these items cost $3 or less. And, since you won't be able to disassemble this one, you should get a few more. For what I needed it for, the best design was available. I'm going to order more.
I've been cleaning my fountain pen nib units with one for over a year. It's ideal for forcing water through Jowo, Bock, and most other non-proprietary cartridge or converter pen systems. I'm about to go out and buy another to cut to fit a Parker 61 capillary filler. You'll need to make an adapter if you want to use it with a Pilot non-piston filler: Simply cut off the back of a worn-out empty Pilot cartridge to make room for the bulb tip.
THIS IS NOT THE SIZE OF A NEWBORN! It is described as such on the website, but when I received it, it was the standard large size!! I was very disappointed because I really liked the newborn size and how well it worked! I've been looking for one for a long time and haven't been successful.
It worked well and I would recommend it.
The quality is poor. In the first month, the system failed. I'm going to give it two out of five stars. Although the suction was superior to that of the American Red Cross brand, it was docked three stars because it broke down in the middle within the first month of use, where the circular joint is located. Now I'm not sure if I should buy it again because the aspirator will be needed for a long time by the child, but I can't keep buying it every month because of the poor quality.
I'm not sure how well this works for its intended purpose, but if you want to use it to clean a fountain pen, it should work fine. It accomplishes what it sets out to do. I don't know how long it will last because I've only had it for a week, but I've already used it to clean my Lamy Safari while switching inks and to thoroughly clean an old, clogged calligraphy foundation pen. I'm not sure how long it'll last, but it's a good size and appears to flush water through a fountain pen well. So, if that's what you're looking for, you've come to the right place. It should work out fine.
I was hoping that meant the first image represented the size being sold; it also stated that it was intended for people with smaller noses. The one I received is the larger one, and it is far too large.
