This is a great product, but it's a pain to squeeze. I'm 73 years old, and my hands aren't as strong as they once were, so using this with the baby is difficult for me.
Because it does not open for cleaning, I soak it in soapy water all the way to the top to easily remove the boogers. Coming in a set of three means you can throw them out after however many uses you think is ideal without having to sterilize them, or just keep them handy in places like the diaper bag, by the bed, or in the bathroom. Also, depending on your baby's nasal opening angle, a slight upward angle to get them out, the suction is adequate.
A bulb syringe does exactly what it says on the tin. The essentials are all that is required. You can't open it to clean it, but the suction on those is always the worst. I adore my nose frida, but I can't bear suckling them when they're sick, so I purchased these as a back-up. I'll just throw them away after a while because you can't really clean inside them.
These are hospital-grade suction cups that have been individually sealed. Suction is excellent, and it is particularly useful for small children. I wouldn't try cleaning or reusing; it might work if you put in a lot of effort, but I don't think it's worth it.
My baby likes it a lot. I've used them with all three of my children. It gets the job done.
These are larger than those provided by the hospital. They were discarded because their nostrils were too large for infants'.
This might work for adults, but it didn't work for my baby. It was a nightmare to suction.
It's pricey, but it's also simple to keep clean. Above all, it completes the task correctly.
