Hello there, valued client. Thank you for your inquiry and interest in this product.br>Yes, the nipple head is specifically designed for infants and babies to easily get liquid through the haakaa baby oral feeding syringe. When using a traditional syringe to feed a baby, you must use a combination of the hard nib (which could harm your baby's delicate mouth) and the soft nib. This nipple head, on the other hand, is gentle and is used in the same way that a pacifer is. The dual- To greatly reduce the risk of choking, angled ports on both sides of the nipple shoot liquid into the sides of your child's mouth rather than the back of their throat. br>I hope you find my response to be helpful. This was purchased for the purpose of administering medication to a four-month-old infant. My hope was that she would suck it up and swallow more, but it hasn't worked out any better than a regular syringe. The silicone sheath is firmer than the plastic and does not resemble a pacifier. It's also difficult to use the syringe to actually suck it up when I've tried to mix medicine and milk in the little cup that comes with it. When the silicone is pushed to the bottom of the cup, it forms a seal along the top, making it difficult to get all of the liquid out. I'll give it another shot now and then, but if your child has trouble using a regular oral syringe, I wouldn't recommend it. On the bright side, the materials appear to be of good quality, and the small cup is functional.
This was suggested by law. My three-month-old daughter suffers from severe acid reflux and requires medication twice daily. Because the medication has a bad taste, most of it was pushed out of her mouth before she started taking it, and I had no idea how much she was getting. This has been a fantastic experience! My daughter accepts the pacifier willingly, but no medication is administered.
We tried using it to help with our feedings a few times, but baby was not fond of it. It's most likely due to the delivery system. We weren't able to make it work.
It continued to spill near the spout. Get yourself a regular! My daughter, on the other hand, enjoys it as a teether.
I'm not sure if I'm doing it correctly, but it's difficult to get the medicine into. I finally gave up and switched to a regular syringe.
I was overjoyed when I discovered this on Amazon because I couldn't find them in any of the local stores. chilly Flu season is upon us. This syringe has helped me with everything from sick pets to children. Have faith in the plunger's ability to glide smoothly. having the ability to choose the appropriate dose It will not, however, allow for the ml dosing required for small pets. In my medicine cabinet, this is a must-have item.
It does exactly what I want it to do, and it's simple to set up and maintain. There are a lot of them, so there are plenty to share or save for later. It's made of plastic and has stoppers that are rubber (or look like rubber). I always update my reviews if new information becomes available, and I hope you found my review useful.
This thing has a leak! The cup part is what we use most of the time, but the syringe leaks.
