I bought it in the hopes of finding a mosquito repellent that actually works, and it does! I live in the United States' Mosquito Capital, so I know what works and what doesn't. This came as a complete shock!.
I originally purchased it after reading on Pinterest that it aids in mosquito eradication. br>However, I ended up using it to remove my makeup, and it only takes a dime-sized amount of the cream to do so. br>I was able to remove my makeup with ease and without causing any irritation to my skin. (To remove the cream, I wet baby wipes with lukewarm water. ) br>I like the way the baby cream smells and moisturizes.
IF BUGS ARE AN ISSUE FOR YOU - GET THIS! br>br>I can't sit outside without being bitten by a swarm of mosquitos. I'll not only be bitten, but I'll be itchy for weeks afterward. I'm not one of those people who claims to be bitten only to have three or four bites later. When I tell people that, they laugh, but my husband always responds with, "No. . . she's not kidding. " It's a complete disaster. "I'm not even allowed to be outside!" We have a fire pit, but I'm not allowed to sit near it because they get me even near it. I've sat at tables with candles and torches and still get eaten alive! I've considered telling my doctor, but I'm afraid they'll just laugh it off like the rest of us. I only had the opportunity to use it twice this summer, but I swear to you. . . . . . I'll be able to spend more time outside!! It makes me sad because I'm looking forward to spending time with my family and friends, watching fireworks, going for a walk, and so on. I did have to reapply about an hour later, but seriously? If it means I can be out there every 15 minutes, I'll reapply!.
This is the only product that actually works to keep mosquitoes away. br>However, every inch must be covered. They must be able to smell it where it wasn't applied. br>Last night, I was bitten between my toes after putting it on. Flip-flops were on my feet. br>However, they didn't get my legs like they usually do; I like to use it as a moisturizer because it has a pleasant scent. Mosquitoes bite me and no one else in a crowd, so I'll never be without this product for the rest of my life.
I paid $44 for 8 ounces, thinking I'd get six bottles instead of one! It's not worth the money to return this!.
There were no mosquito bites after I used this cream. My dog enjoys it when I go outside and play ball with him. In Mississippi, mosquitoes are a major problem, and I live in a wooded area. I was blown away. Furthermore, it moisturizes my skin and has a pleasant scent, whereas bug spray does not. The customer service was fantastic! My product was taken from the box. They replaced it right away.
I haven't been bitten, and she hasn't been bitten either - It's also extremely moisturizing, which is great for my extremely dry pregnant skin. Because I'm allergic to mosquito bites, doing laundry has been wreaking havoc on my legs this summer (I should remember to wear some when I go into the garage).
The lotion applies smoothly and leaves a silky finish rather than a greasy residue. It has a pleasant scent that is not overpowering, and it appears to be effective in repelling mosquitos to some degree. Although $10 per tube is a bit pricey, I chose this one over others that were bundled and were less expensive for fear of receiving a cheap knockoff, which happens all too often on Amazon. This appears to be a genuine name-brand item that has been properly sealed.
