The old car seat of my daughter can now be used for baby #2 without sliding around in the back seat. This helped me save $300! Although we had used the original base on a number of different cars and tightened it up to the recommended one inch, it still wiggled/slid more than the recommended measurement. Stylish and sturdy, this base keeps our Britax child car seat as well as my older child's car seat held in place. When you are experiencing the same issue with a compatible car seat, it is highly recommended to just upgrade your base!.
2 years old just now. This is an additional base for my wife's car that she just purchased. The manufacture date is January 2017 so we're going to use this one on our brand-new snug ride. Over the past two years, this base has reached its second birthday. I was able to use it right off the shelf because it is new. According to state law, however, neither a seat nor a base can be older than five Graco has always been our brand of choice, so we got this so that we could use it with kid #4 as well. When the shelf life of a Recaro product decreases, the company discounts it. I was kind of upset that they sent us an old one, and at full price. It just killed some of the durability we were planning on. Always make sure that your products are up to date.
Although I purchased a Graco car seat stroller combo, the base of the car seat does not have a built-in Purchasing a car was not going to work for me as a first time mom, so I purchased this one. Straps in the seat belt style are convenient and easy to use. There are no clips to secure the base to the car seat it simply uses a button, making it significantly easier to remove it. Of course, the leveler would be of great concern to me and was my major concern. In addition, the price on Amazon was close to $40 cheaper than on the Graco site. You can use it with any Click Connect car seat. I think my car is the Click Connect Overall, the purchase was well worth the price.
GET THIS BOOK! IT'S WORTH IT! The base does not offend me in any way. There is no better base on the market that is as simple to install as this one. While there are many snug ride snug lock bases on the market, this DLX base is by far the best. With the extra protection for my baby girl, I think it's worth the little bit of extra money to have this on hand. It works with all Graco car seats. In the past few months, my wife and I have had to take out the base a few times, and it's always very simple to put back in. Currently, we have two, one for each car. One came with the stroller that we bought, and we purchased the other on Amazon, and we have been quite pleased with it. I am very pleased with the purchase.
Then, add this That's kind of stupid of me. In the wake of receiving this item, I was upset as well as many other reviewers to see that it did not come with the Inright Latch belt, so I called customer service who were more than willing to send me another one. I was confused when I received the replacement, thinking that again this too was missing the belt, but, take a second and take a closer look. There is a hidden compartment in this bag. When people read instructions, it makes them feel better. The total opposite of what you want to hear. This is a wonderful product, and I have been humbled by it.
After seeing this across the internet and getting the DLX version, I had to pretty much pay twice the price of a regular base but safety for the little one should not be cheap, so I think it's worth the money. Although I am not sure why it asks about thickness, it would have been better to specify reliability instead. Oh well, I leave you with this phrase,

The cost of the extra gadget really justifies the extra cost. There was no doubt in my mind that the answer to my question was Since I have been installing car seats for my friends' children and myself over the years, I have installed so many car seats. I think this is the EASIEST car seat base I've ever installed! This installation was so fast and was the most secure I have ever performed! This is one of my favorite books! This product is well worth the price.
It is my second time doing it. One year was all that was left of the first one. My first choice was one kind, but I didn't like the second kind. The one I wanted did not auto shut off and on, and also had a pocket. The only one I could find was this one, so I purchased another. My expectations of it being long-lasting are low, but I like it nonetheless.
