Graco made installation easy by providing us with several different ways to install the seat and guides on the seat itself so we can make sure we don't make any mistakes. There are a lot of nice safety features about this baby crib and it's convenient, but I think it's too attractive for a young baby who will spit up and spill food on it in 24 hours. It's plastic (basically the whole frame is), but it's heavy--so it should hold up. Plastic should be used for heavy duty applications.
