I don't think the tires will last 70k miles because of their soft construction. The time it takes to wear down is affected by the vehicle and the way it is driven. Gravel roads leave stone marks in the tread, so with reasonable driving and no worn parts, I'd estimate around 40k miles.
This tire is designed for a 6-inch wheel. This tire will only fit a 7" wide tire; an 8" will be too wide.

23,000 miles of driving in the snow, rain, and scorching heat of summer. The performance is excellent. Although not as quiet as a touring tire, the road noise is tolerable. Worked great in the snow, even better than I had hoped. In comparison to the original tires, the tread is wearing slowly. They're driving a Nissan SUV with all-wheel drive, and we even felt confident enough to do some off-roading with them. With them, I went on a road trip and mudding. Not off- It was definitely a road trip, but I made it through.
This is my third set of these tires, and they're fantastic on my 2000 Dodge Dakota longbed truck. I've driven all of the major American tire brands, and up until I got my first set of Hankooks, I thought I was getting great value and performance from my tires. WRONG! The handling, durability, quiet ride, and excellent wet-weather performance. I've had some of the best surface braking in my life - That's not to mention the ridiculously low cost of a four-piece set. Despite the fact that I drive aggressively and frequently haul heavy loads, including 8' and 12' trailers, each set of tires has logged well over 50,000 miles of service. So you can imagine my delight when I discovered that my wife's new car came equipped with a set of Hankook tires right out of the factory!.

I was waiting for a knot on the tire to cause a flat, so I bought new tires. It turned out to be a great deal because it was the cheapest I could find in my size. I've put about 500 miles on my Hankooks and I'm really happy with them. I put two on the front of my older Toyota Sienna to replace fairly worn Firestone Destinations, and wow, what a difference they made. They tightened the steering response while lowering the turning effort. Smooth and quiet, I'm glad I didn't get the Goodyear Assurances we have on the Cayenne. br>br>The difference is so noticeable that I'm replacing the two rears next week, despite the fact that they still have a year left on their warranty.
