The warranty service is inadequate
3/5

While the tire was fine, after five months and 3000 miles, I developed a side wall leak between the front rim and the tire. This was all highway miles because I ride my bike to work every day. My mechanic/installer examined the tire and determined it to be defective, even writing an email letter to the manufacturer attesting to this fact; however, the manufacturer stated that only authorized dealers can make such a determination, and sent me the names of three dealers, all of whom were an hour and a half away - one each in East Harlem, the Bronx, and Brooklyn - All of this is not in a particularly appealing location for riding my bike. I contacted the Amazon reseller who sold me the tire, and they informed me that I would have to return the tire at my expense so they could determine whether the problem was warrantable. While warranty claims are uncommon, I would prefer to buy tires from companies that stand behind their products and have a larger network of dealers to service any issues that arise. As a result, I will not be purchasing the Continental brand in the future. This is my second tire defect in 40 years of driving cars and 30 years of riding motorcycles; the first was with Kumho for my car, and they gave me similar trouble, so I stopped buying their products. This was my first time purchasing Continentals solely on the basis of price, and I will not repeat the error.

Now my knee is dragging so nicely. If you're looking at tires, you're probably aware that you require them. Purchase these tires and enjoy your life: (Slip the new tire over the rim with zip ties. ).

the age of three years 3118 is a date code
3/5

This is the final week of the year. As a result, the tire has been on the road for three years. If the tire had been four years old, I would have given it a two-star rating. star rating, and it's very likely that I'll get it back. br>br>For those of us who replace front tires at least once a year, a 3-year warranty is a must. year- The old date code is fine, but for those of us who don't ride frequently, we're already at a disadvantage with a tire that's close to the 5-star rating. There needs to be a better system in place for people who buy "old" tires from sellers. br>br> I understand the market fluctuates a lot, but we shouldn't have to pay full price for tires that are approaching the 3-year mark. older than the year mark.

For my 2017 SV650, these are excellent low-cost tires
5/5

I recently purchased my second set of these tires, and they performed admirably in my first set, so I decided to stick with them. On my 2017 SV650, I had excellent traction in all weather conditions and got about 9000 miles out of the first set. I can't justify spending $300 on other big-name brands when these can provide the same mileage and performance for around $150. I'm very happy with these tires, especially since I usually ride fast and on rough roads, and they never fail to keep me planted. I wore down the chords on the back of the first set as well and still made it home safely.

This tire is fantastic on my SV650 and feels fantastic
5/5

I've driven almost 2000 miles on this tire and the tread hasn't changed at all. Even when leaning deep into turns, the tire seems to grab nicely. The tire grips wet roads well, but I haven't ridden in the rain yet. I despise being drenched in water. br>br>I ride aggressively and this tire suits me well.

Not the most trustworthy of sources
3/5

This tire was on its way to me, but it got lost. I decided to give it another chance and ordered another, which arrived this time. However, it is not the most dependable. It slipped out from under me and wrecked the bike after only a few hundred miles of use. So here's my lesson: Cheap tires should never be purchased. They're the only thing that keeps you from falling to your death. Don't put your safety at risk in order to save a few dollars.

You can't go wrong at this price
5/5

Everything appears to be in excellent condition. I'd recommend this tire, the Shinko 009 (good tire, bad name), or the ME880 if you want more life and less traction. If you don't have money to throw away, don't spend a lot of money on a better sport-touring tire.

Sport touring tires at a great price
4/5

On my SV650S, this tire lasted for over 8500 miles. The handling was excellent, with no issues during casual canyon carving or long highway drives. The tread, however, wore out extremely quickly in the final 500 miles - In the middle of a weekend touring ride, I went from just above the wear bars to exposed steel, but they are an excellent choice at this price point, and I have bought another set as replacements.
