If you're referring to stock rims for a sportster, I believe you're correct. They specify the spoke cover dimensions. To be sure, measure your rims, but they're quite nice, Ling. In order for them to fit, we had to cut them down.
They'd work for it, but it'd almost certainly be more trouble than it's worth. They're a little tricky to get on spokes and cover perfectly.
If you have 72 or fewer spokes, you're good to go. I had a couple of extras that I didn't need.
I believe they will, and all you need to do now is cut them to length.

If you're like me and ride a "big dirtbike" (midsize adventure bike), you're likely to have a spoked 21" front wheel. br>br>That also means you've probably realized stick-on weights don't work well on such wheels and are better used as paperweights rather than flying off and greeting your shin or plastics: )br>br>This also means you've probably discovered how difficult it is to find OEM-style spoke weight crimp. Why is that? no idea. br>br>Now we've got the "no mar" style of set screw. These JFG Racing ones are very similar to the others, with the exception that they were on prime at the time. br>br>Decent machining, no sharp corners, and they fit over the spoke easily. They appear to be made of brass, so they should be corrosion resistant for the most part; I'd expect to clean them similarly to regular steel/chrome spokes, and they shouldn't get too nasty. br>br>A pocket has been milled into the weight to accommodate standard spoke nipple sizes, though it was a little tight on the Tenere 700. Although the included set screw works, I strongly advise you to use threadlocker to secure it. If the spoke nipple is important to you, be aware that it will leave a mark. br>br>The variety of tools included in this set should be sufficient for most tasks. If you find yourself slapping a bunch of these on, I'd either re-do the whole thing or re-do the whole thing. Examine the mounting location of the tire, the condition of your wheel, and whether or not you have a defective tire.
I read some negative reviews that made it seem like these were difficult to install, but that was not my experience. After the first couple, I figured out the best method for putting them on, and it was done in no time, with both wheels still on the bike; the length was perfect for my particular spokes, so there was no cutting required. The correct number of skins were included in the package; I had read other reviews that said otherwise, but my experience was very different. My exhaust spits black oil on my back wheel from time to time, and it shows up pretty intensely on bright yellow spoke skins, but it wipes right off leaving nothing behind, so it was worth the small price tag and a little bit of time and effort to breathe some life into my otherwise dull and boring spokes that had started to oxidize a little. I was tired of polishing them only to have them look dull and crusty when I was finished. These look fantastic on my bike, and I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.
I would give it five stars instead of four stars for installation, but it does take some time and elbow grease to slip the covers on each spoke. That, on the other hand, is excellent. They're going to be there for a while.
The color was the most disappointing aspect, followed by a lack of spoke covers as promised. That's a total bummer. I would have chosen a complementary color rather than a similar color if I had known from the advertising that the color would be so off. Every other aftermarket product I've bought for the bike has come close to matching the original Yamaha blue color, but this one has been a complete failure. This item's color profile, in my opinion, needs to be reviewed by the manufacturer. Is it something I'd recommend purchasing? Yes and no are both correct. It appears to be a good product, but it comes with the caveat that the colors will be significantly different from OEM colors. So be cautious as a buyer!.
I also like how simple it was to cut them to the right size with a pair of side cutters. There was a slight learning curve during installation, but once you get the hang of it, it'll be a breeze. Installing them in a warm environment is ideal. It was 74 degrees when I installed the system in my living room. Taking the wheels off the motorcycle and then installing the spoke covers is a lot easier.
I wanted to add some red accents to my 01 DRZ400e after installing black plastics, so I figured this would be a good way to do it. It's like putting straws in your spokes, and it makes me feel like a small child. If your spokes are tightly crossed, they're a pain to put on. You wouldn't think that a little plastic would make a difference, but it took some effort to get them to slide past each other. I'm not fond of the idea of my spokes colliding in that manner. Overall, it’s kind of fun to add some color to your bike, but’I’m not sold 100%. I'm sure they'll get ripped off, so I'd save them for the kids' bicycles and save your fingers and frustration for something more worthwhile.
These fit the spoke perfectly, but out of the 72 covers I received, 24 lacked a slit to allow the cover to be placed over the spoke. As a result, it appears that I will need to order and pay for a separate package in order to finish my spokes.
Despite the fact that the seller's name sounds like it belongs to an American corporation, these are shipped (slowly) from China (with no tracking information). br>br>These are of poor quality and do not fit snugly. This is the last time I will purchase from this seller. These were tossed in the trash.
