I love Uppababy products and added it to the boys' VIA 2. My purchase of five pairs made me laugh so hard that I filled in all the wheels and my kids are now super stylish and even safer. At night, we cross the street using the crosswalk and when the cars wait for us, their headlights just beam off the reflectors in a very impressive way, and everyone is able to see us quite clearly. Yea, it's a $100 investment in reflectors, but I can't put a price on their safety. The only thing I hope for is that they'd make them for the Cruz V2. If I could afford them, I would drop another $100. When you install them, they are accessible through little tabs, but you have to be careful with the tabs, since they are quite fragile. What's even more ridiculous is that I ordered a sixth pair as a back-up since the tabs broke. You can't be walking around with a blank in your wheels at Disneyland, lol. The first time I let my aunt take the kids to the zoo with it, it came home with a blank in it, so good thing I had.
They are only mediocre at best in terms of reflective power, and need to be snapped into place - even after being snapped in securely they sometimes pop out again Since I push the stroller at all times, I'm always on the lookout for them slipping out. I would not recommend this. I had to buy two sets to ensure enough reflection for the $15 price. I don't feel that they are great value for a set of four (one for every wheel). A set of cheap reflectors will set you back $30. It doesn't seem like a good use of money.
One piece per wheel was not adequate, hover. It would have been nice if more pieces were included. My stroller barely makes a sound when I am walking with it.
The reviewer who said to do this said to do the following You should buy two of each. There needs to be more than one reflector on each wheel to be effective. These were easy to snap into place and I haven't had any problems with them falling out during our walks (and I do a bit of 'off-roading' through.
In a week, it was broken and overpriced. For you to do anything at all, you must purchase two of these. In a stroller that sells for $1200, these should be standard features and of It's disappointing that uppababy didn't live up to my expectations. The reflectors on our black stroller are necessary for a stroller living in Arizona that takes a lot of evening walks. These broke and I'm so irritated.
It wouldn't hurt to have a couple of more reflectors, one per wheel feels like a little too much, or a lower price tag. they aren't reinventing the wheel with this stroller, and for the price these should have been included with the original product.
Having reflectors on your stroller is a really good addition. Simple to set up The removal of these is, however, difficult. A reflector on another set I previously purchased from BuyBuy Baby broke when I tried to remove it. I decided to purchase this set since that one did not work. Don't try to uninstall it once it has been installed.
Our stroller has reflectors on it, and we feel safer in the evenings when we walk without them. They are a great addition to Since I have been using it for about 3 months, it has remained secure even when I hiked on trails and on.
