I HAVE USED THESE FOR YEARS WITH FEW PROBLEMS AND THEY ARE A GOOD LOW COST ALTERNATIVE TO CHAINS. A HAD ONE PAIR LOSE A LINK AFTER ABOUT A DOZEN USES OVER TEN YEARS. I THINK THEY ARE GREAT FOR OCCASIONAL USE, BUT IF YOU ARE CHAINING WEEKLY, THEY MAY NOT BE. I'M GOING TO USE THESE FOR A SEMI.
