They can be used repeatedly, but as with all things, they will eventually wear out. Also, spinning tires can shred them all at once, and driving too fast on them will cause them to wear out faster. br> I had a set that saved me from a $1000 towing bill, but it was installed afterward. br> Out of the four, one is in tatters and the other has several holes. It actually works! There's a good chance it has more traction than chains. The problem is that traction combined with semi-torque causes the tire to spin within the sock, which you CANNOT have or the sock will tear. If you put them on your trailer, do so only when it's fully loaded; otherwise, when the trailer locks in slick conditions, they'll tear on the brakes.
I used these twice, once in a ski resort parking lot with fresh snow on top of ice, and the sock came apart at the seam after less than a half mile. Perhaps a smaller, lighter vehicle would be preferable. A diesel pusher motorhome is not recommended.
For your trucks, this is the best thing you can get. Simple to set up and take down. I would recommend it to any driver or business owner. Just make sure your size is correct before purchasing.
Installing it was a breeze. When compared to chains, this is a lightweight option. When you're done with it, it's simple to put away.
Simple to put on and take off. Because we didn't go too far, we can't say for sure how long it will last.
The product was delivered on time and in good condition.
These are an excellent addition to short-distance driving in the winter.
I have not yet had the opportunity to use them, but they appear to be exactly as described.
