Snap ons fit perfectly in 1/4" size. This 3/8" rack is not available to me.
Does that sound good? In addition to the socket, I also need one that fits

To organize my new tools, I needed to overhaul my organizational system. In order to wheel them over to the job site I wanted to be able to take out an entire set of sockets from the main box and throw them into a cart. As we live in the 21st century, crappy metal rails with spring clips were out of the question. If you're going to leave Hansen style trays mostly in place, they'll be fine but they are a little flimsy and won't stand up to regular movement in and out of boxes. I like the way Ernst twist-lock rails work, but the size markings are a little tiny and can be difficult to read. It is true that Westling products are pretty slick looking, but they are really designed for people who prefer to have expensive tools to make their jobs easier rather than being economical. The tray and the sockets in it are held in place by powerful magnets. This is perfect for my needs and wants. The magnet that holds the tray to the metal and holds the sockets in the tray fact, I have to double the drawer liners in my box to keep them in place. strong enough to hold the tray on the side of a box and keep the sockets from falling out. You can hold it upside down as long as you don't shake it too violently. I have the feeling it's a solid piece of plastic, so it will last for a long time. Everything is marked clearly and can be read. It has what is generally thought to be a full run of sizes, including both 1/4" and 1/2 There are 3/4" and 3/8" versions for deep and standard wells. Only one inch of the 1/2" tray holds a run, and that is a bit of a downside for It should be noted that they restrict the size of the tray to keep it compact, but I would like to see them offer a 1/2" tray with holes for a full complement of regular and It's deeply moving for those of us with the room to experience it. I have read that there are some sockets that won't fit into the holes, but my Craftsman & Schneider sockets work fine The Pittsburgh sockets all fit perfectly. There is just a slight play to make them easy to insert, but not enough so that the sockets are loose. This is a highly recommended book.

Half an inch is not much, at least not for me. Both the 1/4" drive and the 3/8" drive ones are excellent. The worksurface is held in place by the tray and the bits are held to the tray. Compared to the previous case, the hold is strong enough to be useful without being too painful. My sockets all fit, and aside from not having a place for extensions and having a couple of blank spots, everything is fine. It's hard to like the 1/2" as much as I do the 1/8". In the deep well, there are no sockets facing the standard sockets as there are in 1/4" and 3/8" drives. For deep and shallow sockets you'd need to double up on the Additionally, I use air a lot more often on 1/2" than on 1/8". Add more after that if you want to have impacts as well. Add it all up and there is quite a bit of money there and plenty of If I were in the market again for 1/4" and 3/8" sets, I'd absolutely buy them.

The sockets can be stored in this wonderful container. on this tool holder is magnetic, which allows it to be affixed to the side of any metal tool box that has a magnet attached, or any other iron object. The sockets are held in place by this as well. It's not possible to find small magnets inside those holes. The magnetic field). It is impossible for me to imagine something better for holding my sockets than this. In order to complete this set I added 10 SAE and 10 metric (10 deep and 10 shallow of each type) in addition to the ten that I started with. My only issue is that it won't fit in the hole if it's the biggest (5/8"). "SK" seems to have a slightly thicker metal so I need to ream the hole a little to fit it. There's no star deducted from my grade This may be due to a socket problem, not a holder issue. The combination I got for my metric 1/4 in drive sockets (above) I liked so much that I went out and got the metric one as well. I thought you were supposed to be creating a socket holder for the RED Ares SAE. In terms of the metric one, I am also happy. In the metric version, the only thing I would like is an extra holder for a 15mm socket (both shallow.

This is the ARES 70232 26pc set. For $40, you get 1/4 bits, all 3 socket adapters, 3 socket drill driver adapters in a magnetized tray. Since I've used them extensively for months now, I haven't encountered any problem or failure. Chromoly finish and tool steel construction make this crv a high quality product. RES is a company I will purchase more from in the future. No, I do not receive any type of compensation for my review. I just want to give an honest assessment of a tool that works as advertised because, in my experience, so many tools look good but do not stand the test of time.

My preferred socket holder is a magnetic one for 1/4" sockets only. There is no problem identifying a socket size when something is missing because the labeling is easy to read. In my opinion, I would prefer the magnetic socket holders for all those tools that I keep on a workbench or roll around in a large toolbox. The long socket holders with clips fit in the toolbox better than the regular toolbox when hauling it out to the drive (though it's very annoying that there is no size indication unless you put the sockets on with the size facing outward). The two brands I bought (that look similar in the pictures) are exactly the same when you handle them as well. On magnetic holders that hold 3/8 and up, the magnets are not very strong. As a result, while they are great for a giant toolbox, they are horrid in a small box where space is at a premium, and the sockets would probably fall out if jostled around.
