This is garbage
3/5

This is junk. The product is not to be purchased. The garbage in this article is complete and utter. I am not sure the sizes of the items on this match the specifications. Sadly, I could not use it to replace the tie rods on my Chevy van that are 36mm in diameter. After a while, I decided to just use a pipe wrench instead. It is possible to bite into the metal, but the adaptors will expand and lose their Get cheap performance when you buy cheap tools. The product is useless. Do not waste your money and time on it.

This is a very handy tool, but you may only use it once
5/5

The tool is very useful. With this tool, you can remove tie rods much more easily. There is a car in our household that isn't very well maintained and anyone who did replace something got it wrong. parts which were rusted on needed to be replaced, as did the tie rods. I bought this tool with my husband's money. The first time he heard it, he thought it was incorrect. In the end, he realized there was something wrong with the tie rods we have. However, he had just begun testing them out after a loss. The tie rod repair kit fitted perfectly and was of great help to him. This case keeps the device in one place, but it's not great. This seems to be a very specific tool, and it is obviously not going to be very useful for many other purposes. In any case, it's better than paying a lot of labor fees for someone else to repair your.

It is the wrong size
3/5

There is no wrench of the specified size. By about 1/16th of an inch, all were oversized It is one eighth of an If you aim to cheat the size, you must rely on a thick coat of paint. As it was, I was very disappointed in the set I received. So I didn't bother with the return, which helped me get the tie rod tool I needed. In order to remove the excess paint and properly size the wrench, I used my bench grinder. There is a possibility that I will use this tool three The possibility exists. Usually, I spend less than I should. On hindsight, I might have found it more convenient to buy Harbor Freight disposable tools. The one good thing about it is that it is thick and solid.

A workaround is much better, and acquiring a high quality tool is much more expensive
4/5

For the price, this is a great deal. You may have to adjust it with a grinder or file to get it to work on your vehicle's inner tie rod ends. This time, I had to go up one size because it was a little loose but it fit me just fine. based on other reviews, I expected to have to take the next smaller one and open it up to make it fit if they had been really tight.

I'm ok with that

This is a decent product for the price. The casting is not great however, so I had to use my grinder to get it I've had no problems if you pay for what you get.

This is a great product
5/5

I loved how easy it was to do this on your own. My 2002 Subaru was a dream to work on after I changed the inner tie rods. There is an adapter for my Subaru that fits perfectly, and there are 3 adapters in all.

It's not going to happen with the 1997 Infiniti I30
3/5

I would recommend staying away if you own an Infiniti I30 from 1997. They didn't fit on the inner tire rod on my existing car. It didn't fit the one that came with the vehicle, but it fitted the one I replaced. A bigger step, however, was not an exact fit for turning. This was the case for the one step bigger that went over the inner tire rod. It was quite clear that the bad reviewer had the same issue as them.

I couldn't install it on a Chevy Trailblazer 2005
3/5

The tie rod on my 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer needs to be changed. There was no fit for any of the sockets. There wasn't enough depth in them. Moreover, the diameter of the bar was insufficient to cover the ends of the tie rods. Despite being able to use, it was returned to the manufacturer. The steering wheel had to be turned to full lock and a big crescent wrench had to be used.
