Questions & Answers

Upon turning on the unit's button and the power is interrupted, will it automatically fall back to 110 v after the power is reconnected to 12 v?

An interruption of the 12v power will not result in the device turning on again. Once you press the power button again, the power will turn on. You can use this button to temporarily turn on your computer. As measured by a clamp meter, the inverter continues to draw about 40ma in the off state.

With a 110 volt vacuum can I use it?

The chances are very slim. There are two types of vacuums traditional and robot Cats tend to be scared of the ones that make such a loud noise. Use a large amount of juice (around 15 oz. They would approach 1800 watts because of the outlet's limit), but you only use them for a short period of time, so they don't affect your power bill as much as an air conditioner does (that uses a lot of juice over a long period of time). Rather than buying an old battery-you should get a modern one- This vacuum has a power source. The wall runs long enough and is dared to be just as powerful as they are Inverters like this are more expensive than AC powered inverters, and cost around the same amount.

Can you operate a 10amp shop vac on it?

The inverter has a cap of 1000 watts, which is more than enough for a 10 amp shop vac. When it first starts, it could also draw twice as many watts for a short while. This would not make sense as a If the inverter does not shut down or blow a fuse, then it would be hard on it and will probably greatly shorten its life. If you must run a 10 amp shop vac, then choose an inverter that can handle at least 2000 or 3000 watts.

Does the fan run continuously even when it is not under ?

The fan speeds of this inverter seem to have three settings in my experience. If it is switched on, it always runs in low mode, and in medium mode, it will operate between 400 and 450 rpm. A high mode kicks in around the 800 w load range when the load range reaches 600 w. The fan does appear to be temperature controlled, as opposed to load controlled, since it usually takes a few moments after a high load is applied for it to ramp up, and some time after a high load is removed for it to ramp This is not something that I would call exceedingly loud, but it is audible, especially in the medium

There's no doubt that this works
5/5

"Almost perfectly" is the best way to describe it. The inverter I bought cost $138. I have so many thoughts on it, where do I even start? In December 2019, there will be 99 in the United States. The first thing to note is that it does work and it does provide My first inverter purchase was the Bestek 300 watt pure sine wave inverter. I loved it so much I bought this unit when it was released and I absolutely love it. Despite only having a few reviews, I was confident in the brand.
I saw power out put rated by my Kilowatts which described the results. When 950 watts of heat gun power was applied, the watt meter read 102 volts, and as high as 117 volts when the gun was unloaded. When the meter read 59 volts with barely a load, the output was 5 volts. There is almost always a reading of 9 hertz, with an occasional reading of I had my clock set to 8 and only a few times did it read 60 hertz, so I counted those as pros and cons. It has powered everything I wanted it to and more, my kitchen LG refrigerator (4 years old) and countless other devices I wanted it to. A 13-year-old garage fridge (old style high load starting compressor type), a 6-year-old HE front load washer, and a garbage disposal where it was left outside overnight There is a furnace in my home, yes, there is a My new wiring technique involved removing the Romex and wiring a 12 gauge heavy duty ground plug as the furnace's input, then wiring the Romex into a standard plug that can be plugged into the heater. My natural gas furnace has a high efficiency of 90%+ that consumes about 500 watts whenever it is on low and 1200 watts at its maximum on high heat. I turned on the furnace and let it run for two heat cycles worth 15+ minutes each on the low setting for 45 minutes and the little Bestek worked well. During operation the inverter's fan would vary its speed depending upon the load, but I didn't even feel hot air coming out of the unit. Powered off, just be sure to connect the unit to a battery, and then the USB ports have power. There seems to be some accuracy in the battery power input listed on the front. * The output wattage also appears to read correctly according to my Kilowatt calculations Measure in meters. The battery even powered up my old garage refrigerator that requires at least 1070 watts to start, after it had done so, I was able to run it for over an hour. I then used the Interstate marine deep cycle battery to run my kitchen refrigerator for over four hours with no problems. A con is that the fan starts immediately when the inverter is turned on, even if there is no load (extra power consumption). Despite being green, the little green power button light is only about a third of the way lit, so it's In the power output that it lists, it is putting out 115 volts, however, that is not the actual voltage it is putting out. Although the provided power cables are short, I found that they were able to work without getting even slightly warm in my hands. This machine uses 4 ATO (automotive style) fuses each rated at 50 amps, and i have never seen that great of an amperage in that style of fuse and am concerned that I will not have access to replacements locally (luckily it comes with 4 extras). There are no mounting legs or metal tabs protruding from the back of the inverter to enable it to be mounted In all reality, overall I would really rate this as a I would like to give it five stars if possible, but I think I can trust it as I have run it over the last month quite a bit, I put it through its paces and I think it can handle most of them. It passed for me without any problems. I was planning on returning it if it failed. * * * Sorry for the rambling review. I don't often write them but I think this product is good. I was worried about it and it's worth my time. I hope it helps you too.

You will need to buy better cables with this inverter
5/5

modified sine wave inverter I bought locally but it couldn't power either my Keurig coffee machine or my cheapo "900W" microwave. This pure sine wave inverter is able to power both, and I didn't have to spend much more money. As one of the few reviews for this inverter, I was hesitant to purchase it but after buying it, I am glad I did. You'll be glad you paid for it! An inverter with this feature is great. It comes with a built-in display. You can find out the battery voltage and current load from this device. Around 1100 watts was consumed by my coffee maker while about 1200 watts was consumed by my microwave. While we were over the rated output of this inverter, no problems were encountered. I suspect the manufacturer does not publish the peak output rating, so it should work fine with appliances that draw a lot of power from the power source There is also the issue that the built-in fan can be quite taxing when fully loaded. I suppose that's to be expected, given that I was pushing the inverter hard. At low loads and idle, my inverter runs quietly, and sometimes even turns off, when I have no loads. This is an exceptional build quality. I do not feel that the case got warm as a result of the use. In fact, since I was not able to test it without an oscilloscope, I am certain that it is a pure sine wave inverter since my microwave worked perfectly with it (when I tried it with a modified sine wave inverter, it worked but created Inverters are designed for use with 12 volt batteries, but the cables that are included are insufficient to connect the unit to the battery. Despite understanding that thick and high quality cables are expensive, I would have been happy to pay $5 more for My cables were hot to the touch even though I had only used the inverter for about two minutes. If I had run the microwave for longer, I can only imagine what might have happened. Plus, the cables aren't thick enough which caused the voltage to The display showed a voltage of 10 for the input. In place of the 12, use the X V. It was at a voltage of 6 V when I checked it. Although it is obvious that the voltage will drop when you demand a lot from the battery, it should not go down that much. I expect to see at least 12 channels with better cables When under load, the voltage is 0 V. Although I wouldn't give it a solid 5 stars, I would still recommend it for its overall performance. I would give it about a 4 out of 5. This is because the cables that come with them can cause a fire. Don't forget that you need to pick up some good cables along with the inverter, a minimum of 2 gauge cable, a 1/0 or 2/0 cable is.

It really works great and has a pure sine wave
4/5

This is a lightweight inverter for its power output as well. In fact, I was able to drive it at its maximum output without it skipping a beat and it stayed cool even when overloaded. I only have a complaint about the display's accuracy when it comes to power output and voltage. Depending on how much power is coming in, they seem to run low or high. In the worst case, I saw an error of around 20%, but it really does not matter. It almost didn't occur to me, but the cables are a bit thin (and will get hot) if you use more than Using 6 gauge or less would be a good choice. The output power is indeed an absolutely smooth sine wave, as I checked using my oscilloscope.
