Is this kit compatible with the Harbor Freight version of this lift?

Did you manage to track down a HF lift seal kit? One is exactly what I'm looking for.

On the piston of my lift, there is some rust. Will this kit work if I polish it with an emory cloth or steel wool?

Rust may be present on the piston. The cylinder wall is sealed by the sealing o ring. As a result, make sure any scale or roughness is removed from the interior. The o ring will be damaged as a result. Simply smooth out the surface. Also, thoroughly clean with soap and water before drying. Assemble the cylinder bore with oil and the piston o ring. Do you know if a fifths seal kit will work on a Direct Lift lift?

It didn't fit in my direct lift, so I didn't try it.

My lift, model 2301, is older. Is this kit compatible with my computer?

You're most likely referring to 2031, which was constructed in 1994 or later. 1131 had been around for a long time. Yes, they will, and they did a fantastic job. Right now, my bagger is atop it!
