CARTMAN Jack Stands with Outer Foot pad, 2 Ton Capacity, 1 Pair

It happened by accident that I noticed the label during my friend's use of In the instructions, there would seem to be a larger memo highlighted in bright red. So we took off the jack stands, bent the tab in accordance with the yellow label, and reinstalled them. Obviously, this tab is not going to bend easily. Our stand finally bent, but couldn't be moved up or down once it did. You've got to be kidding me, right? The time I spent getting this item was wasted as I had gone to use it an hour earlier and had to return it within one hour of getting If there is the slightest bump, the jack stand will slide, which may cause serious injury! In this case, it won't slide at all to set height if you fix it with the tab. There should be a ban on this jack! As I said earlier, I am extremely angry about this because if we do not speak up, someone else may be injured or killed!.

There is not a complete engagement of the teeth! It is recommended that these are locked This is a very dangerous situation. As with Harbor Freight's model, there were a lot of fatalities and injuries in this one. It seems that the teeth do not lock at all. In the photos, you can see the contact point that is absolutely horrifying. There is a hole in each weld on the stands, too! ALWAYS BE CAUTIOUS! There is a need for Amazon to check these before a crisis occurs.

I have a misunderstanding of what the crank actually does, which is why I gave it a slightly lower rating. My understanding was that it was a geared crank to possibly adjust it a bit in height. The blade of a lawnmower is changed in my case. In fact, it is the method by which its height is securely locked. The windmills are extremely strong, or at least for the purposes I need them to have.

Besides having an easy to handle lock ratchet, other paint and finish are well done and appear to be complete. In order to secure the extension post in the jack base, bend the bracket cylinder This clip is more than sufficient for keeping the post in place in the base during transport.

I had to drill a small hole and attach a safety cable to the lever that releases the stand part, which is pretty sloppy. You are better off paying a few extra dollars for a more reliable and well built product. I only bought them because I needed them to use next day. Once I'm done with my quick project, I plan to pitch them.

I read a review on someone using them on a truck so I bought them for my Tacoma A five inch lift and stock wheels) With or without the lift they only work when you mount them to I plan on keeping them but if you want to put them on your truck just get something bigger, these are for cars only.
