The Coleman Taos could not accommodate the item.
The use of. It saves a lot of time (and back pain too! It's a definite "gotta-have" Item that pops up in the pop-up window Owners of travel trailers and up. The bottom line There are few inventions than can compare to the slotted drill/driver stabilizer socket, which is one of the greatest inventions ever made for campers. Decreases set-up time by a great deal The upkeep of It helps you get into the zone faster so that you can spend your time outside less stressed. & get you all packed up & ready to go Once it's time to go home, you'll be on your way faster. The following thoughts were my overall rating A-
The ultra-light was a nice find This clever thingamajig was an afterthought for my wife and me An A- used to belong to me I am popping up the frames Getting our feet up and cranking the stabilizer feet up and down took way too much time lying down, and squatting in mud, etc. We were laying down when we arrived and left. Put this little device into a drill/driver, and what took the longest was to set it up Ahead of time & at the ready The tears flowed The setup now takes the least amount of time! This is a real time-saver and a lifesaver on days when inclement weather makes it difficult to set up. Considering it to be our little home away from home, this was our best $15 investment so far. A spare belt is always good to have, so I bought a couple one to keep in the camper and one to keep TIP -
Click here & find out more Many folks complain that this thing bends too easily, etc. Don't lower the stabilizers of your camper before disconnecting from your vehicle AND after setting up the camper's jackstand. You'll overwork both your drill/driver and this handy stabilizer socket. I hope you all have a wonderful time camping!.
Then and now My 2000 Coleman Cheyenne pop up has a lot of useful features, including the ability to raise and lower the stabilizing legs. After I bent it with my vice and a hammer, I was able to straighten it again. This is sturdy enough to raise a camper a bit, but I wouldn't use it for raising a pop-up camper. Furthermore, it would need to cover a bit more ground and go a bit deeper to allow automated functioning. Despite its faults, I would give it five stars if it had come straight.
A strong word. The structure is poorly constructed. Having said that, it is a shame that this is so well built, and yet so poorly assembled. Nice welding, though. On the drive adapter, there is a nice thick wall. The problem is. The big but is that I think it's a very big but. It has been welded in a crooked way, so when you crank the trailer, the drill will go all over the place since the shaft of the adapter is out of Take a look at how a bent drill bit By multiplying it by 6" you get 17". Sorry to have disappointed you. Maybe I'll return in a couple of weeks and see if things have improved.
It works great to raise and lower the stabilizing jacks of my old Coleman Cheyenne pop up camper A trailer that will be set up. There is room for slight improvement in the barrel, it could be slightly longer so that the barrel could also be used for the roof, maybe half an inch or an In the hole on my trailer, the barrel is too wide to fit in the area where it is broken down to fit onto the drive rod. You may need to try another trailer if this works better. In light of that, the roof might be too heavy for this tool or my drill to raise it, but it could be used to lower it. It does exactly what it says on the tin, and it was a solution to a problem I didn't have in the first place. Even though I will probably not bring a drill with me on the road, I will still use it around home.
is not difficult to fit, but it took a while to find a drill strong enough to lift the camper, and my husband is a carpenter (he has all the latest and greatest tools). We have an overly heavy camper, so the concept is good, but we cannot execute it.
My stable jacks were easy to lift and lower with the help of this clamp with a craftsman driver. However, after using that clip half a dozen times I noticed the opening has gotten wider and now can't latch onto the jack. My wish is that they had made it of a stronger material so that it would last longer.
This product is well-made and does what it says. Easy to use!.
